use good antivirus like symantec endpoint protection ( unmanaged install , choose custom on install screen ) better than Mrt

I fixed it, and what I did was remove the .net bypass from ESU bypass, and THEN rebooted, after the reboot the August Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework...........(KB4570506) (which was offered by the official WU) installed correctly.

That would mean the .NET Bypass is now obsolete if removing the patcher means, the update which needs the patch, will suddenly correctly install:thinking:

Maybe MSFT realized MSRT is the biggest nonsense?

Enthusiast, my mistake...I meant I had to ENABLE the .NET Bypass, then reboot before the .NET update would install (via normal WU service). I had the .NET Bypass disabled, then I tried re-enabling it and did the install (without rebooting) which failed. Then I realized perhaps a reboot was needed before the .NET Bypass worked.

    Sorry for the misinformation

Yeet! Seems like I can't get those .NET updates installed that easy. So the monthly rollup was installed right from Windows Update, but .NET one failed. Then I installed the .NET 4 bypass and restarted the PC. When it booted up, the bug with missing Aero theme and "Windows couldn't connect to System Event Notification Service" balloon in taskbar showed up again. Restarted 3 more times (including clicking Restart button from Start menu and completely shutting it down and starting up again) and still the same issue. Uninstalled the .NET bypass, restarted and system is back to normal. Seems like the .NET bypass is doing something to the system. Now that my desktop is intact, I went to install the .NET bypass again and tried to install the update from Windows Update and manually from Microsoft Update website. Still failed.
    Windows Update - "Error 641"
ndp48-kb4569754.exe (ran as administator) - "Couldn't connect to Windows Modules Installer. This could happen, because Windows Installer isn't installed correctly."

if you simply listen to me and apply only the simplix pack for windows 7 ,you wouldn't need to format again, but anyway :p

you gonna download and install simplix pack 7
    https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...egrate-hotfixes-into-win7-distribution.45005/

once you download it (800MB) you gonna rename it to
    UpdatePack7R2--ie11++.exe

it will update your system into the latest updates untill July
most important it will WIPE out ALL the problems with the updates
be aware it will take some time

after that, you gonna download the latest version of the bypass tool v7 and you gonna enable the bypass tool option + the net framework bypass

be aware that the framework bypass gonna make conflict with windows installer so you have every time to enable the option for the pass ,install the framework update, and then again disable the framework bypass in order not to have problems with windows installer.--->- Notice: Regarding .NET 4 ESU Bypass

it has incompatibility issue and may cause msiexec.exe or other Windows Installer (MSI) programs to stop working
therefore, it's recommended to install it only when new .NET 4 updates are available, then remove it after installing the updates

    good luck.

I try to not heavily promote the simplix updatepack in this thread, it's another project which uses this ESU Bypass by @abbodi1406

    You mean this: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...dates-eligibility.80606/page-118#post-1583751 ?
Actually I had read and executed the instructions last month before I have installed the current v7. It worked for me then but now... not anymore.
Ok, I will try it once more...

That's a miracle that I have never heard the name of this package even though I have several times in my life have reformatted the hard drive, and a completely re-installed in Windows 7 operating system: D

Would you have a link for me to download this software for myself for the future? :)
For example, you can put it to me in a private message, it would be helpful :)
