Your effort with Bypass Windows 7 ESU is very much appreciated by the ones who do NOT like Windows 10 or Linux.
Pages upon pages... Awesome job to the one that worked on this ByPass extension! Am hoping someone is going to do one post for all to see so they do not have to wade through it all to come up with - missing vital details and updates. Some excellent points are made, but they are like finding needles in haystacks. I tried wading through all 21 pages - I really did. So, I get that there is an ESU in the first page and post and then something about a patch in the mid section plus waiting for some further patch or hot fix perhaps. 1) Is Kurwica something needed for Windows 7 Home Premium? Or does this vary from pc to pc? 2) I have all the pre-requisite stacks installed already - so do I have to do more or uninstall/reinstall?
abbodi1406 Tell me what conditions needed to add kb4528069 for offline mode dism from install.wim ? If it will be necessary for extended support. Perhaps need to add some registry key beforehand ... Of course, subject to the preliminary addition of all necessary updates to the install.wim. ps. to the edition "embedded 7" kb4528069 add no problem, on other editions gives an error
You cant use the ESU Updates to integrate into a Install.wim file. The Updates must be installed "online".
hackya In edition "embedded 7" kb4528069 no problem .. dism offline. Another thing is that kb is no need for it in this edition from embedded. They have no requirement online only .. support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4528069/ And in my opinion it was a test update, the components of which are included in subsequent cumulative updates.
Hello I have installed last week said bybass ESU application, as well as updates in this thread. So should I now uninstall this installed Bybass ESU and wait for new software to be released soon? I have a poor command of English and therefore have to ask for clarifications. Sorry. I use Google translator somewhat. Thanks!
Hi, You shouldn't have to. It is possible, it will take longer for WU to show you update. If I were you, I would leave it and if by tomorrow you don't see any update, uninstall it, update and reinstall patch. BTW, big thank you to creators and contributors, excellent work.
Do I have something I didn't understand? So should there be an ESU update available for download now? Where can I download it if it's already available to me? I'm from Finland. I would also like to thank the authors of this software for enabling Windows 7 to continue! Thanks
There is one hour time difference with amsterdam and we get the updates on the same day at 7pm, you probably at 6pm.
No, today is the last, official update from M$, which you will be able to install through Windows Update. Depending on you settings, it will either update automatically or will pop up window, that updates are available and you will have to "confirm" to start the update. With the patch installed, for many user it takes much longer for Windows to show the update. That's why I said, wait till tomorrow and if you still don't see the update, uninstall the patch, install last official update through WU and reinstall the patch. Hopes this help.
Can this future update be downloaded and installed by Windows Update? Or do I need to download it from a site and then install it?
A big thanks to those who try to made this project possible. I want to confirm that windows update doesnt work with the patch installed. Left it for 25 minutes and nothing. Uninstalled and it works again.
Windows Update has installed my Windows 7 Professional update 13.1.2020 with this file number as KB4531786
That's the latest servicing stack update from dec. 9. 2019 Today's patches will be available in about 3h45m.
When clicking on the installer.bat file I get a message telling me that Superuser64.exe is missing. It's actually in the Bin Folder within the ZIp file. How do I get around that?
