Uninstall the .NET bypass. Then try again to install the September rollup. Only install the .NET bypass when you want to install a .NET update.
I installed the September security only update earlier today. I had no issues with my web browsers or with video players (I use MPC-HC) since I updated my nVidia graphic drivers a month or two ago. Yet I did notice that Office 365 Word would not properly display its "Welcome back" messages when I reopened various documents. I also notices some system tray popup window issues. I uninstalled the September security only update and everything is back to normal. In other words, the September Win7 OS updates are flawed.
That is in a way good news. (Bigger chance that they may fix it). Just to be sure: You are not using "Basic" or "Classic" Theme in Windows? When I enabled "Aero Theme", my problem with the video players was gone. But I really hate that theme so I also uninstalled the September update for now. I cannot check the "welcome back" messages in Office. I disabled that some time ago...
That's strange. I'm not able to get rid of the problem in MPC-HC without dumping my beloved Classic Theme. So there may be some research left to be done.... However I will first wait for the october updates.
In MPC-HC, instead of the system defaults for DirectShow and RealMedia and QuickTime, I am using Enhanced Video Renderer and Video Mixing Render 9. Perhaps try these?
Since last patchday (KB4576628, KB890830, KB4570673, KB4577051) sleep mode didn't work. When I wake computer up it shows a black screen (computer is running but not showing anything). I thought it has something to do with KB4577051 and tried to uninstall but it fails. Can someone help me?
I had hoped that this would work but it does not work for me. I have been having problems even installing the last microsoft updates for windows 7 Sp1 x64. The final January update would not install, it says it is not applicable to my computer and I also get that for the ESU updates and SSU. Windows update checks find no updates after I installed the remaining updates some days back. I generally loath windows updates which tend to break stuff and disrupt my systems function in unwanted ways. I install them very reluctantly after checking for other people's experiences with them. I have checked and as far as I know I do have everything that is required apart from not being able to install KB4555449 the SSU. Is there a list of required SSU's? Are all the releases required to install certain updates? I have managed to install KB4538483 successfully a short time ago and I have not rebooted.
Hi @abbodi1406 Is it possible to implement a start with a given option? For example "LiveOS-Setup.cmd -o 7" to install the .net 4 bypass without asking within the script?
Thank you for BypassESU Is there a BypassESU-v10-AIO? (version 10) I can't install November's security update. It’s KB4571729. It's in the MS catalog as the update for November. But strangely it's also on some MS web pages as an update for August. I installed it in August, but it’s not now listed in my list of installed updates in Programs and Features in Win 7.
