Question: If I only use the PC for YouTube and Netflix plus to read the news and weather. Sometimes maybe searches although I mostly use the phone for anything really. Everything else I do via phone as well. Is ESU still needed and future updates?
Is there any way to tell you've installed it correctly? Did it after the last update and not noticed anything yet
Hi guys . I just discovered this. I use Windows 7 Ultimate X64 with a pirated key from 2015 (the windows still updated to this day and never encountered a problem) i usually just play some games from steam and web-browsing my only favorite sites/pages , so 90% of time i was never exposed to viruses. Keep in mind 90% of time i never used external anti-viruses, haha. Now what i have to do to get the extended updates for 3 more years? Can somebody explain to me step by step? Thank you very much in advance !
Installed windows 7 updates today and now i am getting "This pc is out of support" error. How to fix this permanently?

So if the poison pill is not in the latest SSU update KB4536952 (as also enesalpa trial seems to confirm), and considering that it has been released *after* the last "free" monthly update I must conclude that Microsoft purpose in releasing it is that of making the ESU updates available in WU for those who purchase ESUs. Am I wrong?
ESU and test update installed a few days ago and worked. Now after reguar update windows says the kb4528069 is already installed. For the test i removed the kb4528069 and tryed to reinstall it and failed. the ESU Bypass don"t work anymore.
I read somewhere that after installing 3 updates and rebooting there was a 4th available? Could it be that one or one of the other 2 non SSU?
14 WU...I only got 4. So, it has to be one of the 4. One of them took out my desktop screen saver as well and that took an hour to put it back.
I have now received the following update these five. Now apparently I'm just waiting for ESU updates, or should I install the latest version of Bybass ESU? KB4531786, KB4535102, KB890830, KB4534310, KB4536952
If it wasn't for your post, I would've encountered the same thing... and probably would've panicked. Hopefully the new version of the bypass won't be too long. Also, if it's really true that yesterday's Patch Tuesday did indeed break the current bypass, then I assume that was deliberate in Microsoft's part. Who knows? On the plus side, I received a new update for Windows Defender which is better than nothing, and I do hope I will get more updates for it despite this period of distress that's already begun. I know that Office 2010 is supported until October this year.
I had to uninstall the KB4534310 patch in order to install ESU test update KB4528069, so that could indicate that the next ESU patchs cannot be installed.
By that, I would've preferred to have the last batch of updates installed today if I had known of that sooner. But oh well. (Personally, I'd just keep the update for fear it may screw up my system, when it actually replaces an older security rollup according to what's said about it under the Update Catalog)
