@abbodi1406 thanx v11 works but for installation of citrix workspaceapp v11 must be uninstalled Is it possible to have commandline switches for both cmd-files?
@HarryBoo , I'm not sure what you're experiencing but I have no issues installing (and using) CitrixWorkspace (v2009 & older) under Bypass v11. Anything newer than that won't run on Windows 7 anyway. If the problem is the .NET ByPass messing up certain installations, it looks like that is System configuration dependent. For the time being there's not much more you can do but just unInstall the .NET ByPass component prior to your installation.
Thanks for this great Tool! One question: Is it safe to remove the extracted folder after running LiveOS-Setup.cmd?
Yes, you can safely remove it, but when you need it again, for uninstalling the .net 4 bypass or so, you need to redownload it (best to keep it somewhere safe).
After installing "dotNetFx4_ESU_Bypass_v5" I got the following error in Adobe Reader XI: "Acrobat failed to load its Core DLL". And the program fails to open at all. After uninstalling the Bypass the Reader works as usual. Workaround: use current version of Reader.
I was unable to install KB4598500 with an unknown error. I managed to fix this by reinstalling the .NET 4 bypass. If anyone comes here to report this issue, refer them to this post.
Better option... uninstall dotNET ByPass during the Adobe installation only, after successful Adobe install, reInstall dotNET ByPass (known issue with multiple installs)...
Finally got KB4598279 installed. Went back to my system Image from mid December (after the Dec Updates). Tried the update, and it was succesfull. I have no idea why it's not working with my current system image (January), since I did not change anything since the december image. Anyways problem solved for me.
Interesting. As I have the same problem, I'll try to roll back to the backup of 25 December tomorrow. Still no answer to this problem from the Guru's here... [Edit] This unfortunately didn't work...
V11 worked flawlessly. Great job @abbodi1406 and great support as usual @Enthousiast. For the first time i install Net Framework, with no issues.
I think I found the issue, why it didn't install for me. Tested some more with my different system images (snapshots) and noticed for some reason, there was a problem with the Windows Task Scheduler. Went to the Windows Task Scheduler and noticed, I couldn't edit/end any existing Tasks, since there's always an error message (can't understand why since I didn't change anything). Searched a bit in the Internet, and found some results, especially that a windows service may not started correctly. Solution for the Task Scheduler: Start a cmd as admin and run: fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\ After doing that, the Task Scheduler worked correctly again and the Windows update installed without problems.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try tomorrow. I've already tried several drastic measures today, but none worked... (Virtual Machine snapshots, so I could roll back after each failure)
I don't think so. AFAIK it's only updated as far as MS would allow regular support for Home editions, January 2020 (without any ESU patch enabled). In the readme it says KB455449 is called the "Latest Extended Servicing Stack Update (May 2020 or later)." But it also says that SSUs require buildup from previous months, so if this is the one from May 2020 where would I find the backlog of January to April? What KBs would those be? Sorry if these seem like newbie questions but I want to be sure I'm doing everything in sequence.
WU ESU patcher not to work on WES7. When I search the threads, I find #4991 #4771 Please add this state in OP
