Try sergei strelec good winpe And for bootable iso use ventoy better than rufus more compatibility and multiple iso with ventoy on same key.. Not possible with rufus
I was able to run the command proposed by abbodi, but now I get the following warning message: "DISM error: The size of the scratch directory may be insufficient to perform this operation" Still, I get the message 100% operation completed successfully. I'll try adding another one and then reboot and see what happens. Pray for me
@jooecat Try with quotes Code: dism /Image:C: /Add-Package /PackagePath:"E:\Windows6.1-KB5036922-x64.msu"
Ventoy always gave me headaches with older equipment or even proprietary enterprise equipment. With Sony Vaio devices I have colleagues who with Ventoy did not directly detect the bios / uefi USB memory and with Rufus it did. Regarding the WinPe suggestion that you propose, I will take note and investigate I understood that Abbodi was proposing to use a WinPE of the same system and architecture for my computer where I have the problem, therefore I downloaded one based on Windows 7 Original of the same architecture (x86). Thanks for all your contributions
Apparently the error why it didn't work was first a " that I forgot to delete, then a hidden character that was copied (an extra space) and now the one you passed here, despite getting the message "DISM error: The scratch directory size may be insufficient to perform this operation" the operation is completed successfully according to what is printed in the terminal. I'm going to restart normally outside of Windows PE and I'll report if I get any errors. thanks abbody
I don't know what to do anymore. I rebooted and I get the message 'Windows updates setup error. Reverting the changes. Do not turn off the equipment" I'm done x/
I've tried all the solutions proposed here and I honestly don't know what else to do. For now I will leave it like this. I would like to collaborate by providing a file that can be used to debug the problem.
abbodi1406 Gentlemen, I've forgotten a bit the principle of updating the Windows update system. So, remind me, do I have to install WU_ESU_Patcher if I update my computer via a package from simplix?
Did you answer me? Dude, no offense, but if you're writing to someone, put the nickname out. Clarifying question: If I don't have to install the Patcher, which has a choice of Windows 7 Embedded and Win7 Server, how will the simplex package determine which updates I need. As far as I remember, the only way to keep getting updates is to patch the system in Win7 Embedded. Or did I misunderstand the schema for getting updates?
If there's no name, it always will refer to the post directly before it. Always been that way. And no, SiMPLiX does not need any patcher.
