    Not at all

the suppressor prevent the check for Windows updates, the .NET bypass hooks slc.dll to fake ESU license'
no real license is harmed or touched

that R7VHC is used to fake it
but how did you get this status? it should only appear to msi not slmgr.vbs

    1. it gives no error, it seems to install it correctly but it is not in installed list. I can install it many times but the same result (other updates give me alert that update was already installed)
    2. i installed suppressor and patcher, other updates installed correctly directly from Windows update. From CBS.log file:
CBS SQM: Initializing online with Windows opt-in: False
CBS SQM: Cleaning up report files older than 10 days.
CBS SQM: Requesting upload of all unsent reports.

After many checks, it appears as soon as you apply the WU Patcher to the system (I use Windows 7 Embedded tier). Main type of activation does not matter. Looks like slmgr.vbs is fooled.

    Oh yes
the Embedded 7 tier of the standalone patcher hook sppwmi.dll, which slmgr.vbs does use, so it would be affected and fooled too

    @abbodi1406
so i finally installed it, just needed to remove one manifest file first (which i downloaded from github before). I still have some issues for manual installing some .msu files. If .msu file is intended for Windows server, should i still be able to install it or the bypass only work for installation via WU?
For example i get error "the update is not applicable to your computer" for KB5011649. Can you install this one without issue please? Also WU offer me KB3068708 and KB3080149 (some telemetry updates). Should i install these two or better to avoid them?

direct msu installation facilitate Windows Update engine to check applicability, it will not work without WU ESU Patcher
extract the inner Windows6.1-KB*.cab and install with DISM tool

all the old telemetry updates are already incorporated into Monthly Rollup and some Security Only updates
it's easier to just disable it

    Moin @ All!

My August 2024 ESUpdate experience for Windows 7 Pro SP1 x64 systems:

    "Licensing method": KB4528069 & "new" BypassESU-v12

"Installing method": Manual download and installation via Microsoft®Update-Catalog

KB5041942 (Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 3.5.1) -> succesfully installed

KB5041954 (Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 4.8) -> succesfully installed

KB5041770 (Cumulative Security Update for IE 11 for Windows Embedded 7 Standard / Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1) -> succesfully installed

KB5041823 (Security Only Quality Update for Windows Embedded 7 Standard / Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1) -> succesfully installed

The following additional updates were offered by the Microsoft servers via the Windows Update Search and were also successfully installed: Security Intelligence-Update for Microsoft Security Essentials and .NET 6.0.33 Security Update for x64 Client (KB5042131).

@ abbodi1406: Thx for your support! Great job!

My experience duplicates yours. I use WU to alert me to the availability of updates then I download & install them myself. I also watch for detailed comments such as yours to insure I do not miss an update. For me, this has proven to work best.

Of course my appreciation to this forum & those selfless workers making it all possible duplicates yours as well.

Thank you, abbodi1406, Sinclair ZX81 & all who contribute now as well as in the past. We appreciate you.

    Hey Guys.

I have a small Problem and i hope someone can help me. Currently i have a very old Version BypassESU-v4.
I deactivated v4 and also used the remover for dotnetfx4. Then BypassESU-v12_u.7z Used to install everything with option 1, all necessary KB are installed, and then i stalled the WU ESU Patcher - Standalone, also with all the required KB´s. I restarted my Pc and used the Windows Update searching but I don't see any new updates. The last monthly security update is from January 2023. Maybe one of you will have mercy and help me, I use Win7 as my main operating system and would like to keep it secure.

    Thanks alot in advance.

Downloading and saving and then running the 810 MB size Simplix UpdatePack7R2 24.8.15 would probably be the quickest and easiest way for you to get Windows 7 up to date to August 2024.

Yep, it's a good idea to disable or turn off your antivirus app before using the simplex update pack.
Those 2 updates are for January 2024, so right-click each of them and then hide them.
