I only had the security updates installed in february, now thanks to v5 I am also offered the monthly rollup update. Could I switch back to the monthly rollup in march ?. I think installing the february rollup makes no sense now or leads to an error (?)
Enthousiast, when using Bypass-v5 with WUFUC, does it matter which order they are installed? (assuming both have never been installed on the computer)
I don't know for sure but from what i read, one dev first installed the bypass and next wufuc and all worked, and i think the members who reported it to be working in this thread were already running wufuc before using the bypass. I will test tomorrow
2019-12 Servicing Stack Update KB4531786 - says already installed 2020-01 Servicing Stack Update KB4536952 - this update is not applicable to your computer 2020-02 Servicing Stack Update KB4537829 - this update is not applicable to your computer -tried running the Windows Update Diagnostic Tool (windowsupdate.diagcab) - says it fixed some errors but still could not install the Servicing Stack update(s). -tried running sfc which resulted by saying no errors.
You must install wufuc first, then reboot. Install BypassESU v5 (Full installation, ESU Suppressor + WU ESU Patcher), then reboot.
Here's an observation that I made that might be of interest to some. Up to now I applied Bypass V4, installed kb4528069, removed Bypass and then installed 2020-02 SSU und 2020-02 LCU. The installs all went fine, but I ended up getting a lot of WU offers for previously superseded updates. On Windows 32-bit, a total of 7 and on Win64-bit, a total of 10. I decided to leave them sit there hoping Microsoft would eventually fix their mess. After v5 came out, I applied the WU patch and then installed kb4538483 to prepare for next month. I rebooted and ran check for updates from the WU GUI and all the bogus WU offers no longer show up on Win7 32-bit and 64-bit.
is the update that enables WU to offer ESU stuff, the feb 2020 ssu is the one which is needed for installing next months updates. With or without the ESU license preparation update, WU will offer the superseded updates.
I know what kb4538483 does. My observation still stands - after the WU patch and applying kb4538483, searching for updates came up with no updates found on both of my systems. Pegasus80 seems to have observed this too. What makes you say with certainty that superseded updates will still be offered?
In my case, all of them disappeared. Optional and Important. I guess it depends on what updates are already present on a given system. The number of offers I had was less than what you are showing.
