yes the setting is called accent colors, blame MS for that. but yes, Ill wait for the 10525 build or whatever build comes down the pipe. It has more abilities in it by the looks of it.
Since you found a solution in build 10525, why aren't you using it so you can have black metro app colors in the start menu?
in build 10525 there is colored title bars but there is no black and this is the hole point of this thread
There, I fixed that for you. You keep leaving out that your problem is the difference between metro colors and colors for everything else as I added and highlighted above. That is the the whole point of the thread. And so far there is no fix unless you do what I did and kill the start menu with fire by using a start menu replacement.
the same color that goes for metro tiles goes for everything else and this color is called accent color and there is no way to turn it into Pure Black (at least for now)
My accent color is pure black (95% black with 5% dark gray, so I can just see the window button borders) and works fine everywhere except the tiles in the start menu. The statement "the same color that goes for metro tiles goes for everything else and this color is called accent color" is not true. And this, I believe, is the basis of our miscommunication.
