Many thanks for this answer, it was just what I was looking for. I recently ran an upgrade of my Enterprise LTSC 1809 to 21H2 and wondrered why all the bloatware was there. Thank goodness for backups!!
Because Today is second tuesday of this month and according to Microsoft today is Patch Tuesday ( i.e. updates for windows are available for users on second tuesday of every month ) and since LTSC IoT is already sent to OEMs so everyone is expecting that LTSC will be released today.
Outside my window......November Rain and with time running so fast and before you know it, Tuesday's Gone. But hopefully LTSC will be arriving real soon! I'm sorry for all the lame jokes, but someone's gotta be the clown. 30097A2E 0001
Let's not get our hopes up though If I recall correctly LTSC 2019 was not released on a Patch Tuesday, so it would not be surprising if they stuck to that this time around.
Yeah, it's probably best not to get your hopes up. But just thinking about it makes it tingle inside, just think of the moment you actually have downloaded LTSC 2021, the best and most robust version of Windows 10 ever made. My backup harddrives just waiting for this baby to be permanently there with CRC, MD5 and SHA1 My..........precioooooooous
Sorry if you've already told about it but when this release arrive, we'd be able to upgrade from LSTC 2019 without formatting or... ?
Previous versions could not be upgraded, only reinstalled. So I guess with this version it will be the same.
