That's not a LTSB/C ISO. ISO upgrading was always possible. Not by WU but by ISO it always was possible to upgrade.
By ISO do you mean by mounting the ISO and then running the setup.exe ? Sorry if it's a noob question or already answered before
Do you prefer upgrade or clean install? I cant wait anymore for 2021. I have a laptop and i have to put os. I think to install 2019
On Microsoft evaluation center website it's still showing LTSC 2019 as the latest version so I guess it's not released yet
10 years since new ltsc. i walk through the empty streets trying to think of something else but my path always leads to the ltsc. i stare at the screen for hours and try to summon the announcement. i install other leaked builds but it is no good, they are all russian homebrews. i flame jenmsft on reddit and try to resist the bloated OS but it is all meaningless. the end is near.i then usually watch some ltsc 2019 benchmarks on youtube and cry myself to sleep.
21H1 is still shown for regular enterprise evaluation so perhaps microsoft simply hasn't got around to updating it? Idk just being hopeful I suppose
Well where I live it's not many hours left of this so called patch tuesday. How sweet it would be to wake up and find out LTSC was released. But no, I got a feeling that will not be the case.
Someone did post in a thread long time ago that the LTSC will be released on November 19th, I am starting to believe it now...
Every week that goes by, every month that goes by, every patch Tuesday that goes by... my balls feel like they're being yanked SLIGHTLY HARDER THAN BEFORE. This is nonsense, they have LTSC ready for shipment, THEY CHOOSE NOT TO RELEASE IT. They've realized through forums like MDL and Reddit that the more "privacy seeking" users are avoiding newer versions of Windows 10 for good reason. Some privacy conscious users won't even leave Windows 7 because of the invasive techniques employed by Microsoft to subvert many of the privacy changes that lead to Windows 10 becoming "Free". They know that at least part of the tech world has woken up to their schemes and ploys. Anyone here should know that since late releases of Windows 7 the privacy invasive techniques Microsoft has continued to use are simply unethical. It's as simple as this, Microsoft besmirched Cortana's name to use her as a perfect plot device for subterfuge. They employ new privacy invasive techniques with most patches, some are as simple as undoing changes made to block their spyware. Some are more devious, like the techniques being used most recently. My advice, wait for LTSC to come out (Whenever that is...) and strip it the f**k down to bare bones. Add only what you need, side-load everything, and work as a community to pick apart every update before applying it to production machines. P.S. disagree? good, have an opinion and share it, but don't expect me to be the one reading it.
If all developers deployed a Linux and/or Mac versions of their products, Windows wouldn't be the giant monopoly that it is now.
