Compaq Mini 110c-1010SD

    Hi All,

    I've bought a compaq netbook some days ago,
    it looks like there is no SLIC info in the bios at all.
    (checked with RW-Everything).

    I would like to flash the bios to add SLIC2.1 info, but I cannot find enough info about the current bios.

    When using CPU-Z, it says:
    Brand: Hewlett-Packard
    Version 308F0 Ver. F.07
    Date 06/18/2009

    Is there anyone who can help me to mod my BIOS ?

    A link to the bios would be helpful. If it should be a HPQ-Phoenix bios, we wouldn't be able to mod it.

    The BIOS is provided as only Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 [Overlay]
    so unless somebody knows how to extract it (or Hex cut it) it might be tricky...

    go get AFUWIN and save your biso to file.
    after that you can just use AMI SLIC Tool to insert 2.1
    also make sure your use SSV2

    How about the recovery when something goes wrong ?

    used afudos to flash the bios, it now has SLIC2.1 !
