I used disable_telemetry.cmd in the install.win of "en-us_windows_server_2022_updated_jan_2023" and several reg keys were not found, neither smartscreen.exe. Thanks for sharing your scripts.
Did you remove these lines in the script that don't apply to Server https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...er-to-workstation-offline.84632/#post-1723932 I have not tested the script on the latest Server but there shouldn't be that much difference from an older version (I used a Server 20348.1). I don't know why smartscreen.exe is missing from your install wim. If errors show up it just means those reg keys don't exist in your install wim so it won't affect the outcome.

(as for curious and bored W11/W10 user, old computer, absolutely no server functionality needed) Does it lack any basic mobile (laptop) functionality? Can it run new-ish DirectX12 games? Why would someone prefer Server 2022 over LTSC2021? Does it feel lighter? I don't care if it uses less RAM memory, I care if it performs better on old computers, like f.i. 1st gen Core i7, 8GB RAM, some old Radeon gpu. On that computer difference between Windows 7 and Windows 10 is big. W10, it can be IoT LTSC 2021 or as old as LTSB 2016, still Windows 7 feels much smoother and more responsive. I found the problem. The updated iso has 4 sku (standard core, standard desktop, datacenter core and datacenter desktop). Index 1 is standard core, so disable_telemetry.cmd doesn't find many keys. To solve this, I first run your Server to Workstation script, after that I managed to use disable_telemetry. edit: I first run export-image.cmd.

What is the purpose of this procedure? Is it possible to use the Backblaze personal backup plan to run on a converted Windows Server 2019, which doesn't support Windows Server? And would the manually installed Essential Experience still work after the conversion, especially the client backup?

The "server-to-workstation.cmd" script basically automates the configurations you would normally do after installing a Windows Server (Desktop Experience) to make it look and feel like a regular Desktop OS. Except it is done offline (modifying the install.wim) so as soon as you install Sever it is already configured.
even activating memory compress in powershell one thing I noticed is that memory compress on windows server 2022 does not work as well as on windows 10, even using a lot of ram close to running out of ram on the server memory compress compresses a few MB on win10 in the same scenario it is different it compresses a few GB of data, is there any parameter that changes how memory compress works to make it more aggressive like in windows 10 but in server 2022?
