    Kick ass!

    Hey!

That Antiwpa3 tool worked! XP 64bit boots into the desktop after the password is given, no errors! 911medic, you rock, thanks! And dobbelina, thanks very much for your assistance in helping debug and trying to fix this! Since now that's taken care of, got any more software you would like me to test and destroy? :D

Yeah, I figured it was a gimme. It bypasses the whole check and makes XP think it is in safe mode..This little file has worked on some of the computers we tested it on for the last two years..service packs do not touch it..:D

Props to the AntiWPA folks...this is very nice programming....

I hope you can get what you need now...:p

Does this script assume that certain files from the volume install are present?

The reason I ask is I would like to use this utility to convert an existing OEM installation to an OEM installation of another manner. I work in an environment which does not utilize a volume licensing model.

My end goal is to use myssysprep, driverpacks and this utility (or at least use this utility as a basis) to create an image which remains functional across machines from multiple manufacturers.

So far, what I'm doing is using a myssprep to detect the manufacturer and set guirunonce to a modified version of your script for the detected manufacturer.

In the process of building and testing it right now. Anything you have which I could look at for ideas would be a great help :)

I cannot thank you enough, your script and the research done by these boards is fantastic!

    Questions:
Is there a vlk_to_oem available for XP Home?
What does ANTIWPA3 do that vlk_to_oem doesn't do?
Some of the computers listed at the OEMBIOS Repository (Acer, Dell, Gateway, etc) have more than one file associated with them. How do we choose the appropriate file for our computer?

    Thanks for any assistance.

By running oembios.exe,(Option 1 in my app).
It will tell you what fileset to use.

    hi,
I did run through the whole procedure...

    have some minor problems
-using dell inspiration 9400 de bios files to download are difficult to get for dell, have no torrent and other suppliers blocked no bigupload(found it)
    -missed msvcr71.dll (found it)

my question is about the WPA patch, ok nobody likesWPA SP3
but if it is a genuine dell in my case why should I do that patch ??

You should not...You need to run the oembios tool for the correct dell oembios files to use. Change them and should be done..
