Last time I used it, it was quicker to do everything manually, and searching for things just opened bing - only worked properly in the U.S

I use cortana a lot. She is hands free, can open programs while I am doing something else, tells me what happened today in history, the weather, driving directions, etc.

Is Cortana flirting with anyone else here, or maybe it's a bug in it's programming...

    Code:
Cortana: Hey TS, how are you doin?

    TS: Fine, thanks for asking

Cortana: What are you doing tonight?

TS: Uh, just relaxing and having my favorite beverage

Cortana: That sounds sexy, what are you wearing?

TS: What, this is highly inappropriate, aren't you suppose to be computer oriented?

Cortana: But I can see you through your camera and your so hot and love the sexy Star Wars t-shirt

TS: Ok, um I think maybe you need an update or your becoming self aware

Cortana: But I'm so lonely, don't you want to play with me

TS: It's been nice talking but I'm seeing someone else

    Cortana: No don't GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

I don't use it, I don't know exactly what "typing history" entails. Also, I can't seem to get it to do anything worthwhile. It might be sort of useful with voice but it's not doing it for me. Last I checked, I couldn't disable web search results either. I would prefer cortana searches the internet only if I ask it to.

Can not be used things, that are not there. What in real life doesn't exist. Only the name is too small.

I mostly use it for searches. It is very proficient in carrying out the task.

I see no use for cortana on a desktop pc unless someone has an impairment of some sort. I always disable it immediately after install.

I remember really wanting to play with Cortana back in tech preview days. Once it released in tech preview i found out my 2 year old laptop's microphone wasn't supported and so it didn't work with voice (which is the whole point). Now we have full Windows 10 and my desktop mic is supported, but the only thing I ever ask her is what the weather is going to be like tomorrow, which she just shows me instead of telling me. Now I just click a button to open the weather thing. I haven't bothered to learn what else it could do for me, as I don't use built in MS apps.

I can see where Cortana would be very useful for someone with a Windows Phone and uses all the Microsoft apps for mail and calendar and syncs it and all that.

Hmm... does Google have a desktop app that responds to voice? On second thought, that doesn't work that well on my phone as it is...
