    Read this and I do not see how you slip in the SLIC, just access the special mode.

    slic 2.4 is in the bios in your server you only need to enable it

    99% X30 serie have slic 2.4 try and enable slic first then use slic tools to see if 2.3 then maby update to 2.4

    -The Intel Trusted Execution Technology (TXT) function cannot be enabled on VMware ESXi OS.

    Enhancements
    -Updated the Intel Processor and Memory Reference Codes to post-launch release 4, version 1.9.0.1.
    -Updated the microcode of the following Intel processors to version 0x9E:
    Intel Xeon Processor E3-1200 v5 Product Family
    Intel Core Processor i3-6000 Product Family
    Intel Pentium Processor G4400 or G4500 Product Family
    Intel Celeron Processor G3900 Product Family
    -Updated the Intel Server Platform Services (SPS) and Manageability Engine (ME) firmware to post-launch release 4 SPS_E3_04.00.03.124.0.
    -Updated the iDRAC Human Interface Infrastructure (HII) firmware to version 2.40.40.05.
    -Added support for Intel Trusted Execution Technology (TXT) function that is working in China Trusted Platform Module (CTPM) version 2.0.
    -Added support for Windows 2016.
