    Is this bios possible to be updated to 2.4? I couldn't find any other reference to this model on the site.

    Don't think you can R720 + R420 can't and they have same bios like T series have

    T310 latest bios (1.13.0) is Slic 2.2 so you can only install server 2008 .For 2012 need slic 2.3 and for 2016 need slic 2.4
    I tried OEM cd + OEM cert from CD with moded bios 1.12.0 ( slic 2.3) works on T310 server.
    I will try 2016 with oem cd and slic 2.4 bios.. will let you know...

    all Rx10 or Tx10 series can update to slic 2.4

    Tx20 and Rx20 can't but they have slic 2.3 = 2012R2

    Is that due to them being some sort of secure capsule bios?

    Link is not infected its pop-up blocker or url filter ( malwarebyte) blocking. Exit or pause that program for download. You don't have to register to download. 1st click will open another page close it, click on download again, will download files...
