Hi all and thanks for all modders. I'm asking for a SLIC 2.1 mod for a Dell PowedEdge T100 server BIOS. Please tell me if you only need the .bin file or extra things like asset tag or whatever. Thanks, again. I would also appreciate modding guide instead.

Thank you. I have to deal with the fact that I don't have floppy disks but I'll eventually get my way through this.

    I have a Dell Inspiron 620 which I've tweaked a bit.
It has the MS-A10 BIOS on the board - which contains a SLIC 2.1 BIOS by default.
I've tried to update it to v2.5 but when I do, SLIC Toolkit 3.2 SLIC status is invalidated and SLIC Dump gives an error: Dump OK! (But SLIC OEM ID or Digital Signature error!)
Normally, I do not have problems on Dynamic and with/without AcpiTbls.rw
    Any solutions? :D

What is: (But SLIC OEM ID or Digital Signature error!)
    - Can I change the IDs to use WN09? Hex edit and recalc the 2.5 SLIC I have?
    - Would Phoenix Tool fix the checksum?
    - Quite like to know what I am doing wrong here...

I'm not a programmer but I can understand how things work, could you write the steps you took? At the moment I don't fully understand what tables do what bit...
Or how you accessed each bit and what point. The steps in order would be helpful, so could try them, compare...
    I know a little basics self-taught...

I think if the signature was correct - separate to the checksum? - this would likely work if all put together...
I suspect the checksumfixer isn't calculating everything from experiments.
I'm unsure if Phoenix also fixes the error or just reports it while building the BIOS...

    - Attached file is experiment. Not working...

Could you not borrow the tool from the R710 II? I flashed my R710 II with a 7 boot USBF x86 and x86 version of BIOS installer...

CyberDe@th tried to flash the same BIOS mod using the SPI flash programmer but the results were negative

Well, that’s the most secure BIOS so far then...

Is it like that on all the Bios Updates for the t320? I'm running ver 1.0.1 Bios on my t320 just wondering if there is any diffrence in versions with the secure capsule?

Yes, for all T320 bios (at the least v.2.x.x)
