WOW !!! Realy ? ........ I thought it died of chlorine dioxide poisoning ........ or maybe cut its wrists and comited suicide out of shame ?
He probably means hydroxychloroquine (a well known antimalaria drug), it seems to be helpful for covid19 patients, in recent dutch retrospective clinical research (1064 patients) it held 53% of them from going to the ICU.
No I don't mean it. I read a bit about it but know almost nothing. And what I meant is chlorine dioxide. I created a thread about it here in mdl.
I can't seem to find a couple of things: 1. I can't seem to figure out how to do this <If you are unsure about, please ask the MDL staff before you post a link.>. I mean, I can't seem to find a PM system or how to start a conversation. 2. I can't find the rule that political topics are not allowed. Thank you for any help provided.
https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/forum-rules.18562/ the other 45% must be pure laziness . young man; the rules are easy to find, but you just did not bother... must be the generation gap, i am afraid..
Thank you for viewing a human, myself, as being a young man when that human is in his 8th decade of life. That seems sort of kind of you. Next is, I did see those rules on that page and that page where we are sent when we click down at the bottom of the landing page here and states to be rules and such, but I still cannot find the rule that clearly states no political discussions are allowed. And I think I appreciate that you wish to be insulting to me. I'm probably forgetting any other insults you aimed at me earlier this year. The "Chat" explains why my brain is a bit glitchy, if you might care to know about that. But that you are so easy to insult other humans you don't know is an education for me. So I guess I don't just "think" I appreciate that piece of information. I have worked my brain to the point where I am sure I appreciate that. And you conclude I didn't bother, right? That is also very interesting. I'll follow your lead in deductive reasoning from what I see you have posted here and conclude you are not a very happy human. That is too sad for you. But take care, please. I hope with that attitude you never have to perform combat zone duties. Your sort of deductive reasoning can get you hurt in that career field or in others, like law enforcement. Please take care.
I just found this thread: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/restricting-political-discussions.76077/ I had asked that same member/owner/staff (owner, I don't know) --- via the "Conversation" tool I asked about the rules on political discussion. Well, that thread's basics needs to be added to the rules in some manner. I also contend that both sets of rules be asked during the registration process to be read/viewed by prospective new members of this community. I do not remember at this posting which set of rules I was asked to approve when I registered earlier this year, but I probably have that in my log files. I keep a log of all activities in all communities I belong to, and that is quite a few over many years on the Net. Including the ones I "own". I write that previous sentence with "own" such like that, because I have been realizing that even a forum owner that is a community may not have the right to "own" anyone. That means a community cannot be owned. If ownership of a community is a reality, which it is at present on the Net, then we are back to the 10th century of human existence, when all Earth communities were "owned" by somebody, or some family. And if I am to be banned for that paragraph just above, you'll then prove my point. But the point will have been made. You see, words are a human's second most powerful tool. The first most powerful tool is your brain. And it cannot be owned by anyone but yourself. Actually, this whole series of events on MDL up to (not thru) this post saddens me a lot. I archived 17 separate files earlier in my day that relate to this whole business and it saddens me. I don't really mean to be provocative, but I suppose I am. You see, I suppose about ten or so years ago, when I was one of those helping others on tech issues at Google that I realized humans were slowly not being viewed as humans when they were on the Internet in an Internet Community, which Google and Microsoft had the largest of which at that time. And before that I was an admin of one of the largest such communities on the Net that was not a part of Google, which didn't exist at that time, nor a part of Microsoft. And when I was the admin there and had to contend with amazing problems as a sort of mediator between the peoples of four national groups, I never realized what was happening on the Internet; that humans were slowly losing their identity as a human. I had to be on the outside looking in to realize that. When you are on the inside looking out things look very differently.
I apologize, maybe I'm just "blind" but how do I start a new thread? This is my first post but I didn't see a limitation in the forum rules ... Edit: I see the "(You have insufficient privileges to post here.)" in this section. I would like to post a question in the Windows 11 section and there is nothing.
welcome to mdl, @zdendav lets eliminate a few bottlenecks first. - to remain logged in. an mdl cookie has to exist. -there could also be a problem with javascript, if it is turned off in your browser. -if you are logged in, and i see that you are,you should be able to see on top left `forums`. click on it and you should see operating systems, like windose 11. good luck
@zdendav There should be floating icon at the bottom right side of the page of a sub-forum, which is meant for creating a new thread. Alternatively, you can click on this link directly to create a new thread in the Windows 11 section. As a last resort, you can even edit your original post in this thread with the query and I'll move it to a standalone thread in the Windows 11 section.
Thank you both for the quick replies. I don't see an option/link to create a new thread, maybe I'm blind ... I can post a screenshot. Yes, I did mean that site. I disabled add blocker, reloaded, still nothing I'm logged in. Javascript is enabled AFAIK Edit: Thank you very much Tito, that link worked.
Dear Super Mod / Adviser @Tito Could you tell, why the forum rules are still classified. For that, you still have to work hard to find them. And even if you do, there's still an unfixed link saying the page wasn't found. Do you still remember when this link should have been corrected, i.e. how many years have passed since xenForo replaced vBulletin. Why isn't this link under the page where are such a links as Home, Contact Us, Help, Terms and Rules, Privacy Policy Why don't the real Terms and Rules open by clicking Terms and Rules? When will the time come when the Forum Rules are easy to find for everyone?
The rules are listed in a sticky under the Announcement sub-forum, which is the top most section for regular users. We believe that it's in a sufficiently accessible position. I'm not sure why do you think the thread is "classified," though, because anyone - including guests - can access it. Please be a little bit more elaborate: Which link are you referring to? The footer is derived from the XenForo template, which is why it uses the stock pattern. If there's enough public demand, we can of course alter and/or improvise the current layout. Interesting; why do you think the existing terms and rules are unreal? Once again, this is a community forum, maintained by the users like you and me. Kindly come up with a proper course of action and present a roadmap if you have a redesign in mind, cause we would always appreciate a constructive critcism.
Thanks, but I also managed to decipher it. In case my choice of words wasn't adequate earlier, here's the rephrased version: The current terms and rules are posted on behalf of the My Digital Life forums as an online entity (forums.mydigitallife.net). It has very little to do with the internal forum rules, which is why two things are separate.
It's nice that you found time for other words besides the word "irrelevant", but I can't compare myself to you in any way. It would be like comparing a bull to Jupiter if you've ever heard of it. This link which can be found in the Forums section under the first topic called as Announcements is "Forum Rules" and it clearly states this sentence in the first post "This thread is for discussion, as explained in the main forum rules thread. All posts that have been in here stay there for documentation. Valid forum rules: see here!" And as you can see for yourself, there is a link Code: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/18562-Forum-Rules And I hope you understand that this is an auto-generated link on the old forum that no longer works here on xenForo. And it's the first thing you'll find when you search Forum announcements. But why does one need to look up to find forum rules? They need to be public and easy to find, but not the hell knows where among other things. And look where your so-called Sticky is and is it visible on the front page? Why should it be the last, not first? And one more thing, if this topic is already taken up. Why does the background of the page have to be light gray and the text a little darker gray, while only 13px in size, which is not even normal size, but small. Think a little about people's eyes too. And it makes no sense to compare the bull with Jupiter and say that they are equal. I don't understand your point of view that everyone is terribly mean and unfair to you and wants the rules to be easy to find. And if you get time, delete the rest of my posts as well, then you will have demonstrated your power and you can go to bed happy at night.
