    Mine's quite quick - with 4.8.3 kernel

    Liking the new lock screen, btw.

    Only issue is 3rd party apps need to catch up now.

    LOL.. I use it 90% of the time - it's very usable even with all kinds of mods.

    Are there programs like ScreenOff (Enables you to shut off your screen) and DimScreen (a screen dimming program) for Linux like there are in Windows?

    Most my dark glass themes look like this. A weird dark grey. This one is Ark Dark. Any work around or others noticing this?: mad:

    It's not the first Cinnamon/GtK update which breaks old theming stuff, you should get used to it and hope for updated themes. o_O

    Very true it took me a little by surprise though, being 18.0 worked with themes no problem. I'm visually impaired and need different themes for my needs Mint x and y just dont do it .Anyway just passing on info to others. Its back to 18.0 for me until newer themes come about.
