I know, but bugs happen... So trying to rule out any potential issues. The idea was that because I do not have en-US, that can cause issues, although en by itself should cover all variations. At least in theory...
Thanks @kaljukass for testing and providing your results here. I identified the issue as being related to the extension FoxClocks 5.2.5. Weird enough, the PDF Viewer extension can handle whatever issue FoxClocks introduces. By disabling FoxClocks, everything works as expected.
Removing the old edge and replacing it with the new edge would save a handful of steps if you install windows quite often. If I am not mistaken there is a way to integrate it through MSMG, I think they made a package for it. I am looking into this myself right now.
The MSI installers are manual update by default but capturing the EXE from a live update and then installing it elsewhere causes a failed update check. Anyone have any idea how to fix?
Incorrect. Using the toolkit I removed both IE and old Edge and integrated Chromium Edge. Install went without a hitch and Chromium Edge works as expected.
Incorrect, here is the custom integration package to be used with the toolkit. The toolkit also can remove both IE and Edge from an install image (as well as just about anything else): https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/msmg-toolkit.50572/page-716#post-1582436 If you are not familiar with the MSMG toolkit you should not comment on what it can and cannot do. I have been building custom install images with it since build 1709.
Downloading the new Edge starts with running MicrosoftEdgeSetup.exe (1.7mb) which then downloads the latest full installer from MS and everything works. However if you reuse the full installer file on its own Edge installs and works fine but reports an error when searching for updates, so the MicrosoftEdgeSetup.exe stub is does something to enable updates. Having an offline installer saves time but isn't much use if it will never auto-update.
And so, since have to ask for it Is it possible to install it ? Otherwise, I will ask on the other topic, where I believe I saw that it was possible to integrate Edge into ISO, maybe....
