I received it from a seller, it's a zip file that contains a folder named "Office", "configurationx64.xml", "EULA", "setup.exe" and "start.cmd".
Haha true, do you have a suggestion as to where I could untouched Standard 2019 files? Other than through VLSC
Why, standard is just pro plus but without the extra templates. Last night i installed the Pro Plus img, using yaoctri: Code: ============================================================= Source : "F:" Version : 16.0.10730.20102 / Arch: x86 / Lang: en-US ============================================================= Select Products to Install: 1. Office 365 ProPlus : OFF 2. Office Mondo 2016 : OFF 3. Office ProPlus 2019 : ON 4. Office Standard 2019 : OFF 5. Project Pro 2019 : OFF 6. Project Standard 2019 : OFF 7. Visio Pro 2019 : OFF 8. Visio Standard 2019 : OFF ============================================================= Change a menu option, press 0 to proceed, 9 to go back, or X to exit: Standard is available at the options.
Standard is lighter than ProPlus. I uninstalled 2016 ProPlus and replaced it with Standard and it saved lot of space. I was also looking for Standard 2019 and couldn't find it - probably because it's VL and in 2019 you need to convert retail to VL. What's yaoctri?
Define a lot of space... nvm, now we're talking "lighter" about office... ps, there is no VL Office 2019 at all, retail only, all need to be converted to VL by script of any kind.
I'm sure you're right, I was only going by what I did with 2016 and this: products dot office dot com/en-us/business/microsoft-office-volume-licensing-suites-comparison
Standard is only available through VLSC as of now you can download it through the Office Deployment Tool.
The post #919 is just perfect ! Following to the letter, I just installed Office 2019 volume with Visio and Project on offline Win10 and Win7 VMs in a few clicks ! Thanks again to all involved, MDL, and @sidjames45 !
I wonder, is it possible to update Office 2019 with Microsoft/Windows Update instead of this C2R-"Crap"?
YAOCTRI v5.0 - Code improvements and fixes, mostly to work with unusual paths, and avoid/fix issues if the script(s) is accidentially ran from 32-bit process on Windows x64 - Added support for network shares as source path (although not tested extensively) - If Configurator.cmd is ran from read-only path (e.g. DVD or network share), C2R_Config ini file will be created on the Desktop - You can now place Configurator.cmd next to "Office" folder or inside "Office" folder, and the path will be auto detected - When using Installer.cmd, if Office SourcePath does not exist, the script will try to auto detect alternative path, similar to Configurator.cmd - Added small detection to check if the source path contain Office 2019 RTM (e.g. current Office 2016 ProPlusRetail.img only contain expired Office 2019 preview) - Added minimum supported version detection 16.0.9029.2167 (current version of Office 2016 .img files) because apparently old C2R versions (16.0.8000.x or lower) does not support all OfficeClickToRun.exe setup parameters * suggested example for creating fully auto installation Spoiler - create unattend configuration ini file with desired choices - manually edit ini file and change SourcePath to almost impossible location (e.g. C:\Windows\WinSxS) - place ini file and the corresponding installer file (YAOCTRI_Installer.cmd or YAOCTRIR_Installer.cmd) next to or inside Office folder in the source (i.e. .img file or DVD) - now when you run the script, it should detect alternative path and execute the installation, regardless what path you put Office C2R files
