Update: I'm curious Is there a discussion somewhere of these CDNs, and the possible pros and cons of each??
Hello guys. Can somebody explaing how to install proofing tools step by step? I was able to install Office with YAOCTRU and YAOCTRI, and to activate it with KMS. I searched in this topic, but answers are not clear for someone who is in touch with this type of installation for the first time. Every help is welcome. I've been able to download language pack with YAOCTRU, but there's no chance to install it with YAOCTRI since it gives the error: ==== ERROR ==== Could not detect compatible Office 64-bit/32-bit for current x64 system.
For Language Pack, YAOCTRU download SetupLanguagePack exe file inside the download directory, just double click and it will install it for ProofingTools, you have to use ODT setup.exe with configuration.xml Code: <Configuration> <Add SourcePath="" > <Product ID="ProofingTools"> <Language ID="en-us"/> </Product> </Add> </Configuration> put configuration.xml inside Office folder to detect the files automatically
Are there any detail instruction on how to do this. I've never done anything similar before. I have tried and it runs some kind of Office installation, but I'm not sure whether or not I did it correctly. I had previously installed proofing tools and I checked it right now and it's working, I'm just not sure wheater I did it as it should or it incorporated proofing tools form the previous version of office. A step by step guide will be very helpful for us newbies here
I have purchased a new laptop that came reinstalled with ms office 2016.students edition I have uninstalled office 2016 (using a sensible online guide) I then installed MS office 2019 and used a kms activator...…..however it activates as ms office 2016. Could I please know how to clear any traces and legit activation code for office 2016 and then do it the simple way convert retail to volume and use a good (please suggest) kms activator Thanks
I have two computers with Windows 7 Ultimate that I installed Office 2019 via the wotok script and OfficeRTool. On the first machine, Installation went smooth as silk, activated with KMS without any issues, Office is fully activated 180days, works perfectly. On the second machine, when trying to aplly KMS, I get 'no instance found, activation failed'. I try the KMS_VL_ALL-35 and get 'Windows Ultimate does not support KMS activation'. I'm confused why KMS works on one machine and not the other, they're both win 7 Ultimate, same builds. Is KMS the only offline Office 2019 activator currently available? Any insights/suggestions would be very much appreciated.
You installed Office 'Retail' and missed the '(C)onvert Retail to Volume' step. Use abbodi1406's script https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1150042/ or OfficeRTool for conversion.
Thank you ratzlefatz, for the timely reply and solution. I ran abbodi 1406's script, it didn't look like it did much, but apparently it did enough. After applying the script, I re-tried the KMS activation with OfficeRTool and was successful. Curious though, I know I didn't miss the Convert step during the many install, uninstall, re-installs over the last 24 hours. I was sure to not miss any steps. Also curious is when using abbodi 1406's script, I made the changes instructed in the readme and set o365aso2019=0 for Visio, ran the script and it did its mojo. I then set o365aso2019=1 for Office, ran the script and it stated conversion not needed, as if Office had already been converted, which I'm sure it had been already. Upon checking the activation status in OfficeRTool, it shows Office 2019 ProPlus Licensed and Visio is Licensed, but all the SingleApp (Word, Excel, PP) show status of Unknown. Just some food for thought, seems a little weird to me. Bottom line is all are activated and working flawlessly. I very much appreciate the community efforts.
is there a way to activate the re-rearm process again on office 2019 installed on a Windows 7 machine?
Hello Is there a link to a newer version of the IMG file than 1902 released in March by MSFT and posted here in April Thanks
