@ratzlefatz : This thread is one of the best managed and informative on the net. It is one of my favorites and I always give it a visit while browsing forums. I always admired the fact that you not only maintained your tool over the years, but that you equally maintained in the OP the links to other tools in competition with yours. Thanks for your hard work during the last 4 years. I whish you the best in the future and hope to read again your contributions from time to time. With my deep respect and gratitude, Bill
@DrakeOfFrance 1 - 2 that's how Office 365 conversion work, grace key is needed to get most features, and it will not nag when expired https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1685473/ 3 it's just cosmetic error, can be ignored bad coding of ospp.vbs (Microsoft assume that everyone use the US date format mm/dd/yyyy) Spoiler Code: 'EvaluationEndDate always returns a value. When an expiry date is not defined "1/1/1601" is returned. 'So avoid displaying this against RTM licenses as that date = no expiry defined. If instance.EvaluationEndDate <> "" Then Set objDate = CreateObject("WBemScripting.SWbemDateTime") objDate.Value = instance.EvaluationEndDate If objDate.GetVarDate() <> "1/1/1601" Then WScript.Echo MSG_LICEXPIRY & objDate.GetVarDate() End If Set objDate = Nothing End If
My friend, I am in a dilemma: Should I install Office 2021 or Office 365? Question 1: In case of Office 2021, I just have to download it from your link, install it, convert office retail to volume and KMS activate it? If yes, will this version update over time or is it LTSC version? Question 2: In case of Office 365, do I use the same method as above or there are other steps to be made? Question 3: In your opinion, which version is better?
