    Hello
I bought a Microsoft office 2019 pro plus "bind" key. After activating it on office setup.com, Microsoft sent me the invoice by email and linked the license to my Microsoft account. So far, everything is normal.
When I run the cmd command, I get the answer that no office key is activated! Yet all office applications and updates work fine.
Can you help me with that because I don't know about computers. Thank you

I don't see this file in the Office16 directories or elsewhere. Using 32-bit version.

    Dear Team,
need help, i need to remove Office 2021 KMS license from a host.
So like when you start office it to ask again for a key

    But when i do:
    cscript ospp.vbs /unpkey:XXXXXX

    it removed key.
But as soon as i start office, key is inserted again.
So we can do again cscript ospp.vbs /unpkey:XXXXXX

I suppose, license information is cashed somewhere?

If its a volume product, Office will install the KMS key if the key is missing. You can change the key, but can't put Office in no key state, Office will auto-install default generic key.

    Dear Windows_Addict
Thank you so much for reply - "Office in no key state, Office will auto-install default generic key."
This is exactly what is needed - put Office in no key state

we raised a ticket with Microsoft they adviced that only full product reinstall can achive this.

But we are still searching a way.

    Now my idea is to:
    a) have a clean install
    b) make snapshot 1
    c) activate office
    d) make snapshot 2

    Compare reg and files

I will post my findings if there will be any clue

In latest YAOCTRU release I saw that Office 365 is now included.

I was in a place where they had bought a bunch of licenses for O365, pro? (cannot remember very well), which included *all* Office apps, and the installer had to be downloaded by logging in one of the O365 accounts in web browser and download from there.

Could this installer be the same as the one included in YAOCTRU, or are all Office365 installations actually different depending on licenses?

YAOCTRU generate links per channels/builds, not products

Please, guide me, where I can find answers to this question:
Q: Is there a way to change update channel for installed Office 2019 LTSC (to Current for Office 2019 retail) and update from product itself?.
I mean, if I have an installed Office 2019 LTSC which is bound to PerpetualVL2019 channel and is showing Version 1808 (Build 10413.20020),
I know, that if I use ODT to download Office2019 from Current, it would be Version 2407 (Build 17830.20166). And I even can install (setup /configure a LTSC version, specifying ProPlus2019Volume and it would be that new version).
But is it possible to change some keys in registry, so my Office 2019 LTSC get update from Current and becomes Office 2019 LTSC Version 2407 (Build 17830.20166)?

I have tried Office Tool Plus, changed channel to Actual:
    upload_2024-8-15_21-8-53.png
    upload_2024-8-15_21-9-33.png
And I still get tgat no updates for my Office (ru-ru):
    upload_2024-8-15_21-10-8.png
    (You have the last version)
But it is not the one from Current:

    Solvable?

    Thanks

    @kibkalo
the channel blocks are hardcoded in OfficeClickToRun.exe, you can't bypass

I can't replace the executable, taking one from same build of another channel?
The task is not doable, right?
