Is there a problem activating it with KMS_VL_ALL instead of with MAS? The only thing I noticed is that the product information activated with KMS_VL_ALL says Microsoft Office Mondo 2016. Activated with MAS it says Office 365. Is there any downside activated with KM_VL_ALL? The only annoying thing I experienced with MAS is that a Terminal window would pop out for a half second the disappear from time to time.

Office 365 with kms = mondo license expected , use massgravel for 365 are better ( ohook )

 

What do I gain using MAS (Ohook)? Does it affect the software in any way?

Kms license are recommanded for office volume product only like 2019/2021/2024 ProPlus / Standard

 

I uninstalled Office 2024 and reinstalled it using Office Tool Plus 10.13.10.0 and now I don't get that error.

Did you get the error with Office 2024? I have Office 365. Did the error affected all versions? What version/build are you having right now? Mine is: Version 2406 Build 16.0.17726.20078. When you now try to update, do you get that error? It seem this issue has affected a lot of users and Microsoft are aware of it and they should release fix soon but I wonder how would you be able to update with a fix when you get error when trying to update?

 

I initially installed Office 2024 from a link which I can't remember

Then I installed it via the Office Tool Plus and I don't have that error anymore

PS: On a side note, none of the links in your signature work

 

Ok. Nice that it works for you There is a thread on Microsoft forum and Microsoft has responded that they are working on it to get a fix out.

PS: I have removed all the dead links in my signature and added a couple other useful. Thanks for noticing

this is a known workaround for this issue, but not a solution

 

I used to have that issue when I installed Office 2024 earlier (can't even remember how I compiled the files) then I uninstalled it and reinstalled it using Office Tool Plus and the error went away. Today it actually updated even:

 

yes, I've read here earlier that someone (like you) installed Office via Office Tool Plus & not facing/faced this issue

However, I (of course) haven't tried that so eventually facing this issue.
