I have Win11 installed and activated with an official key.
I'd like to install MS Word 2024 and use KMS_VL_ALL to activate it.
Will KMS_VL_ALL do anything to my Win11 key activation of Win11?

for some reason, my KMS_VL_ALL_AIO doesn't detect and cannot activate Office 2024 . but works for 2021. Do i perhaps have an older KMS_VL_ALL_AIO and it needs updating to support Office 2024?

 

We can't give a good answer before you provide details on which version you use, and even better, if you can provide log file it's most appreciated.

 

Sorry if this is already answered somewhere, but I'm kind of a newb, and have
searched through the forums and am confused about a few things:

1) What's the difference between Office 2024 and Office 365 (is this now called Microsoft 365?)? Is it just the retail vs volume license channel, or are there feature differences?
2) Is office 365 the version with most features?
3) I see a lot of people mentioning Office 365 turns into Mondo 2016 - does that mean 2016 is the latest version we can have?
3) I thought Office 365 was subscription only with everything cloud-based - if that's the case, how can this be downloaded, then activated & used with tools like MASGRAVE?
4) What's the difference between retail & VL besides activation method - are there pros & cons to each?
5) There seem to be a lot of tools like masgrave, YAOCTRU and YAOCTRI, OfficeRTool, Office Tool Plus - do they all kinda do the same thing but differently, or does each have a specific purpose? It seems like masgrave pretty much does everything we'd need..

It's a lot of questions, but I feel like I've been going in circles through all of the forums for hours w/out really putting all of the pieces of the puzzle together. Thanks in advance for any help!

 

1. Only Microsoft 365 is receiving feature updates.
2. Yes.
3. Mondo 2016 equals to Microsoft 365 without cloud storage and server-side function (like Copilot).
4. Not everything is cloud-based. But remember M365 can be considered the best version of Office.
5. From the perspective of legitimate products, the only difference between volume and retail lies in the activation and licensing methods. Retail licenses are typically for individual consumers, while volume licenses are for enterprise users. If you don't intend to use a legitimate license, then there's no difference between retail and volume licensing. In any case, you can activate Office using the tools you mentioned.
   
6. Every tools is doing same things on download, install and activate Office. You can try each one and then find the one you like best. each one is different in some way. If you have specific requirements, clearly stating your needs will help determine which tool you should use.

For the most up to date install files for Office, I would use the Microsoft Office Deployment Tool (ODT).

And yes, you can activate with KMS or Ohook.

 

But I need an image for offline installation, it's not a problem to update Office after installing it.
