dont install Messaje Something went wrong I have office 2013 pro plus installed and W10 9926 Any idea? Thank you
Thanks for link, works just fine with Office 365 as before Takes Visio and Project 2013 keys and installs the relevant preview versions also
If you have Office 2013 installed, Office 2016 won't install. Unlike 2013 (which did work with 2010 installed, including a different bitness) that is not the case with 2013 and 2016 - including the 365 version.
I just finished installing this one (b3629 x64) on Win10 x64 on VMware 11 workstation. It installed in the background, in the start menu its listed as O2013 but when opening Word or Excel is says its version 16.0.3629.1008 I ran the OfficePreview64.exe & chose "Configure Office Setup" on the next window Not activated so I only have 5 days to test it unless a product key comes along
I just signed-up for the Office beta on Connect. Pretty easy except that they are offering a older build ATM which there calling October Technical Preview Refresh, build 16.0.3327.1020 The DL includes several word documents & a .zip file In the Participation requirements they state that you'll need a active Office 365 subscription... which they offer for a monthly fee, around $9.00 USD Sheesh, what happened to MS offering free beta testing to qualified volunteers.
You mean Word/Excel/PowerPoint previews - all are on the Windows Store (beta) in the Tech Preview). First off, these are straight Modern/RT (not Win32 or Win64) applications. Also, they are quite usable with a keyboard or mouse (to all the detractors) - they no more are roadblocked than is the case with any of the same applications in Office 2013 (which supports touch today). Thirdly, they can co-exist with your existing Office (of any sort) - so you can compare them heads-up to see if they are for you.
