Newest OfficeRTool 2018/Jul/29 supports Conversion and KMS activation of all Office 2016 UWP Appx Desktop Apps.
Thanks, it works now, i didn't know that. Still, it reports Word as being 32-bit in Task Manager. Wan't it supposed to be x64?
I found a problem when I start Outlook UWP app on PC start up. I right click system Outlook system tray and select "Hide with Minimized" Bug Number 1 I copy Outlook shortcut lnk file from Shell:AppsFolder and set the lnk file start minimized. Outlook don't start minimized. Bug Number 2 I create a shortcut type outlook.exe (start using ExecutionAlias) and set to minimized, it will auto change to "C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\outlook.exe". After start using the created shortcut, Outlook had minimized but keep exist on taskbar. The option "Hide with Minimized" don't work. And also the icon don't show correctly. You set the icon lnk to C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.Office.Desktop.Outlook_16041.10702.20003.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE. But the path will not change when you update the app, the icon will disappear. However, you click on the minimize button on Outlook GUI, it works. Seem there is no perfect solution.
Does anyone know why Office 2016 UWP takes up much more space than Office 2016 C2R? (haven't looked at MSI, but I guess with all the updates, it's even more)
When I reinstall Office UWP from Microsoft Store and launch one of the apps, it popup a MSI installer show installing..... Office Microsoft Store Version is based on MSI.
