Hello, this is the version of SEP Client that I have installed now also with SEP Manager (all 14.3.4615.2000) but I wanted to try the 14.3 RU3 also with SEPM 14.3 RU3 only Spanish. Thank you
Yes, please, I need Full Installation (around a 2Gb file) 14.3 RU3 in Spanish (SL) because I help people that don't have internet to update their SEP definitions with an open network I made et home so they come near my house and they update their antivirus definitions, mostly are SEP and some have Windows 11 in their laptops. Thank you.
the @LostED link doesn't work anymore and I couldn't find it anywhere, I managed to download it only in English. Thanks anyway. I have version 14.3.4615.2000 in Portuguese but I didn't want the extension in Chrome.
@Foomanchoo Those files and how-to you posted in convo worked great. Thanks I have been busy so very limited research. This is not perpetual but a step closer. The reg keys "should" remove entries but they will be reinstated at reboot. (I may have missed some details, but ) Do not test any of this on a production system, use a test/VM test system. SEPM is not mandatory, SEP client is preferred. Code: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome\ExtensionInstallForcelist] [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Group Policy Objects\{0E0A16E8-2564-4B40-9268-E70740C48712}Machine\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome\ExtensionInstallForcelist] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\Chrome\PreferenceMACs\Default\extensions.settings] "pamolibmfebkknkdmfabpjebifbffbec"=- We need to modify *.adm to avoid having a forced policy and that is about as far as i am atm. Look at files attached for some inputs. Also keep in mind, SEP/Chrome can re-download extension and that adds confusions. It worked partially a few weeks ago, hoping to pick up the topic soon but kinda busy atm. You have more experience with this topic than me (I don't use Chrome). Test, modify and post feedback. *.adm can be modified with a txt editor, *.admx is xml layout. Let me emphasize: this is not a working solution. Do not use on a production system! Still research and partially hoping for some inputs from community as well.
I use this method to get rid of Chrome Extension https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...ndpoint-protection.51100/page-54#post-1661563
I would like a more elegant solution but if it is not possible at least something that has to be done only once and forget it. For example change permissions and disallow writing to registry values. No time to try this now but if I have any news I'll post it here.
