I took this client version on standard install https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...ndpoint-protection.51100/page-87#post-1841983 , and you @venejo
i Use this client x64 version only an on installation i choose not to participate.... if that has anything to do with this setting. This version also is a bit higher 14.3.11216.9000 instead of 11213.
Care should always be given to downloading files, especially an antivirus file. Obviously, a compromised antivirus file is malware and worse than useless. In previous posts I have addressed this matter more fully, and have discussed examining a downloaded file for both its digital signature and checksums, especially SHA-1 and SHA-256 (if they are known). As a aid to those who have expressed an interest in the "original" Client only executable file (rather than an "extracted" version of unknown authenticity), I have created a link to the following: Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_14.3.0_RU9_Win64-bit_Client_EN.exe (version 14.3.11216.9000). This file is a self-extracting executable and it is in the form commonly distributed by Broadcom. It is approximately 96 Mbytes in size and it is the English version of the client. This file has a valid digital signature. However, I do not know the checksum values of the file as distributed by Broadcom. Here are the calculated checksum values for the file I uploaded. MD5 - 74A7AEEB9ECB8E980306E1C0A95DAF4F SHA-1 - 89099DC196BACFB28CB9F8E07B5D8F135C908A3D SHA-256 - 8DB5E09EEC85337B40474C5DAE5F8A4A4EA341E85ED9FB2CAD3CAF4F86D66AE7 The file may be found at: h---s://pixeldrain.com/u/gYPPNBrv
Someone has not been able to get it in more languages like Spanish. SL, it would be greatly appreciated
Yes! The SAV32.dat and SAV64.dat files in the compression package can be extracted using 7zip and can be installed as a fresh installation.
Is there a similar link for a patch to 14.3 RU9? Looks like there's no way to deciper their URL encoding above so I'm assuming you have access to the file links through a login? Seems safer to patch a known good 14.3 version after install than to trust the files posted so far for RU9..... Wish someone had access to post the hashes from broadcom for each file, then we can confirm which install files are legit. Where's LostED when you need him, always trusted those files but his site is gone. Digital signatures are great, but IIRC installs generated using SEPM have digital signatures and can have custom stuff built into them (as was seen with some of the downloads here).
Yup, they made that available to subscribers only when Broadcom took over. Also made it so you could no longer just use a serial number to download install files. But it appears that if you know the link (as another poster below you does) you can access them without a login.
Hey Guys. Is it just me or they disable the details field on the pop-up firewall (sygate) in the RU9? That option is very useful
