where can i download the full setup file for symantec endpoint protection please? give me a working link
It's hard to say if it's worse or not but we have to make choices, just to whom we want to share our data. So I would lean more towards Slovakia or Romania, but Eset is lighter, so if anyone has cherries for Eset Endpoint Security, I'm interested and a new thread will be created
I have been using Eset for several years now. Going back 3 or 4 years, I was using Kaspersky but dropped them for the obvious reasons. Recently I tried Avast and Bitdefender, but I still prefer Eset. This last renewal cost me $35, but I consider it money well spent.
Hi, Does anyone have the SEPM full installer for 14.3.25029.9000 in English? According to the Broadcom updates site this is the latest version
There's a curious thing in the latest 2 versions of SEP Anyone else seeing this? On the main program splash click on "Network and Host Exploit Mitgation" Click "Change Settings" In Settings/Firewall Tab set the application control as follows. This will block anything trying to call out without you checking and allowing it. Unmatched IP Settings Allow only Application Traffic Prompt before allowing IP traffic (put a tick) Click OK to exit that, and close the Symantec main program screen. From now on any application including Windows update, Windows photo viewer, browser, widgets - everything - will be blocked until you decide to allow it or block it. This is much better control for a bi-directional firewall. It should be enabled by default but it's not. In Symantec.Endpoint.Protection.14.3.10148.8000 you get this: "Do you want to allow the following program to access the internet" You get the choices - "Yes" - "No" - "Details" When you click the "Details" button in 14.3.10148.8000 you will see this: Exactly what is trying to call out - where it is trying to connect to (IP) and the executable - so that you can know exactly what is trying to call out. Then you can search online to find out what it is - and decide to allow it once only, or deny it. You can also decide whether to make it a permanent rule (for example - Microsoft photo viewer calls out every time I use it) Name: Firefox Version: 128.3.0.2014 File Path: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe Connection Origin: local initiated Protocol: TCP Local Address: 192.168.1.112 Local Port: 49874 Remote Name: content-signature-2.cdn.mozilla.net Remote Address: 34.160.144.191 Remote Port: 443 (HTTPS - HTTP protocol over TLS/SSL) In the new versions of SEP you will NOT SEE THE "DETAILS" BUTTON For some reason they took that away. In the latest two versions you only get "YES" or "NO", but you don't get to see what it is exactly or where it is coming from in your system or where it is going. This is very strange to remove this in the new versions. And useless for a Firewall that this was taken away. The "Details" button is still in Symantec.Endpoint.Protection.14.3.10148.8000 (Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_14.3.0_RU8_Win64-bit_Client_EN) It is NOT in either of the two newest releases. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...ndpoint-protection.51100/page-88#post-1842270 Download "Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_14.3.0-RU9_Full_Installation_EN.exe" (1.38 GB) There is "Symantec Endpoint Protection.dmg" inside According to the link provided it's "14.3 RU9" but I don't use MacOS so I cannot confirm
I have checked your link, it is the Mac version RU8 that it is delivered inside the RU9 binary in May 2024. The Mac RU9 has been released later.
