Uninstalling the Microsoft-Windows-SenseClient-Package will cause KB4497936 (cu revision 113) installation error 0x800f0982 due to Microsoft-Windows-SenseClient-onecore-Package (tellib.dll). Edit: Uninstall Microsoft-Windows-SenseClient-Package (full SenseClient) and install Microsoft-Windows-SenseClient-onecore-Package (only tellib.dll) is OK
I have very strange issue. I got this update KB4497936, updated successfully, but my build is stil .53, not .113 as mentioned...
That happened to me as well when I checked for updates and got the whole shabang (.NET, Flash, MSRT, CU, etc). Everything installed, rebooted. Got back to desktop and was still on .86. Weird. I just ran WU again and let it install and all was good. Just a reminder, make sure you don't have any usb hdd's, flash drives, sd cards or any other non fixed disks attached to your system when you update. I had my external hdd plugged in and I noticed the update process was stuck on pending install for some time until I unplugged it.
Many users cant update because a "This pc cant be upgraded to windows 10" message appears on installer and there is no way to continue. It´s not all about usb drives. Guess internal disk can cause this too. They said they will release a fix soon.
I rechecked WU, and windows update started to download same update again, installed, but i got stuck on boot loop (black screen with dots spinning in circle), so i uninstalled this update, and i got back to .53 build. I think something is wrong with my Windows 1903 build. Everytime when trying to install CU for this build, i got boot loop.
I haven't checked yet with recent win10 biulds but, are you yet able to download and apply feature upgrades if booting for example from a 'win10_1903.vhd' via bcd vhd boot? With previous win10 builds VHD Win10 Upgrades where not supported which kinda sucked. From my reads a few years ago it didnt seam like it was gonna change any time soon. ~MC
happened with me for the first time, even after downloading & installing followed by a reboot, build still shows as .86 Run WU once again & that makes the fix for me.
I did it, run WU once again, u got updated, but got stuck on boot loop. Everytime i try to install latest CU, i got boot loop (black screen with dots spinning in circle)
okay, then that'd be something else, becuase, apart from me, user @bfoos also experienced & said the same How did you installed v19H1? Clean or in-place upgrade? Modded or vanilla ISO? Also, any external storage devices attached in your system i.e. Memory card reader, Memory card, thumb driver or external HDD?
