I can confirm this bug when I did a clean install 3 times. Weird bug though. IT will crash if you try to access apps inside settings after a fresh boot and a little bit after a new boot but after some time when you go to access it it will work with no crash. Also group policy seemed screwy in this build. Disabling Windows Defender does not work as well as System Restore disabling doesnt kick in right away via gpedit like it does on 1809. Very odd buggy build I hope gets fixed before going out to everyone.
I guess that Defender disable via policy can be due to new tamper protection. Once I disabled it by hand I could use policy to fully disable Defender...
What do you mean by hand? I might reinstall this build if you can assist in getting defender disabled.
If you go in security center, you should find tbe anti-tamper protection option. Just turn it off. After you did this you can simply run the policy tweak to fully get rid of defender, it will be fully off. I haven't found a way to disable the tamper by reg or powershell, but honestly that makes sense. Fil
Not really for organizations who need to manage 100s or 1000s of computers. Need to be able to set that by policy somehow.
