Only the IoT. Regular LTSC will be switched to IoT in the process.

I used a script to create an LTSC 2021 iso. I copied the oem certifcates and activated LTSC 2021 then updated to the latest cumulative update.

OEM certificates? Officially, only the IoT is HwID activation capable. If you transferred license files from another SKU you created a Frankenbuild and that's no longer official.

my desktop computer is not compatible with windows 11 so i switched it over to the Long Term Servicing Channel by performing an in place upgrade. I copied the oem certifcates into install.wim. this will only work if u create the iso with the script because the cumulative update needs to be at 1149 or earlier to use the oem key and hwid activate it.

the oem key used is from Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 which can be found in product.ini

This will not work with the iso microsoft released because then cumulative update already in it is above 1149

before the cumulative update it will say WIndows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 which allows hwid activation and the oem key. after the cumulative update it will say Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 but will not accept the oem key. then u have to manual install the 21H2 Enablement package

u have to hwid activate with the oem key before doing windows update. once u change prouct keys it won't let u put the oem key back in

Hi. What is the difference between en-us_windows_10_iot_enterprise_ltsc_2021_x64_dvd_257ad90f.iso and en-us_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2021_x64_dvd_d289cf96.iso? I want to install the IOT version, so I understand that the first file it should be the one I use? Thanks!

When you mean to activate IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC with a hwid? yes.

I used EzHWID to activate Windows 10 LTSC 2021, written by @Exe Csrss. You can find it on GitHub (not sure if I'm allowed to post a direct link, just Google it). I used KMS38 because HWID seems like it doesn't work on LTSC.

Most of these scripts are very much the same. Microsoft_Activation_Scripts, Winactivate, KMS_VL_ALL, etc.... I'm just recommending the one I used. That said, the aforementioned MAS is very nice for Office 2021 activation. However, the one I'd recommend IS EzHWID because it's easy to use - as the name implies for imperial speaking folk.

Forked by exe csrss you mean, it's MAS.

KMS_VL_ALL is KMS only, not hwid nor kms38.

Just HWID activate it and it will be IoT, same as none IoT and 5 years extra support, no need to screw with certificates.

iot is suppoosed to be 10 years of supports. Enterprise LTSC is supposed to be 5 years. since the updates are avible on uup dump u can also manually install them on non LTSC with dism. Or make an ISO of non LTSC with the lates cumulative update that is beyond the SAC servicing period for windows 10 21H2

the ISO created with the script is 19041.1 2004. the IOT key will not work until u install cumulative update 1288

1149 and oler show up as LTSC 2019 after 1149 it will say LTSC 2021
