That is the only folder of all shown folders not containing any client SKUs, it's the server 2022 LTSC (20348) folder.
I'm looking for the server 2022 non-LTSC, yes? A few more questions: - "Server" is identical to "Enterprise", yes? - Why is non-LTSC better than LTSC? Are they both equally lightweight / bloat-free?
OK, you recommended me to download the non-LTSC version of Enterprise but the download link you pointed me to is of the LTSC version of Server. OK. Maybe let's start all over, OK? I'm looking for the most lightweight version of Windows 10 64-bit possible with the least CPU usage, least RAM usage, least spying, etc. so as to have the best possible performance for a gaming PC, May you please be so kind to advise me on what version of Windows that would be and a link to the ISO please?
Clearly your intention is not to help me but rather to troll me and to send me around in circles First you tell me non-LTSC is useless (before you edited your post), then you say the opposite and recommend I download LTSC (what the??). Then you make it sound like Win Education has more UWP apps, then you say it has less - (you originally forgot to type the word "less", OK, honest mistake on your part, no problem). Then you advise me to go for Win Enterprise non-LTSC yet the link you provide me is for Win a) Server, not Enterprise, b) LTSC, not non-LTSC.... Are you kidding me? Do you enjoy trolling other users, sending them in circles, purposely writing extremely short & uninformative responses in order to leave other users confused and un-informed and going in circles? Why even respond at all if your intentions are malicious?
How about this: even when you de-bloat a windows 10 iso, it's still no less demanding. I have a 20GB test SSD at work with such windows 10 installed on it(no store/cortana/defender/apps/a lot of other sh*t, removed via MSMG Toolkit). I use it to prove to myself(and my co-worker) over and over again why mobile Celeron/Pentium/AMD equivalent CPUs are a BAD purchase. A chopped up windows 10 eats them for breakfast(keep in mind we're using an SSD here, we're expecting a smooth experience). So, considering your level of comprehension, use Education edition and call it a day. If you want no apps/cortana - Enterprise LTSC. In the case of Ent LTSC, if you want to run games that require Xbox components, you'll have to manually install them so said games can actually run. That's it. More on the subject when you do some more reading.
Where was server SKU ever mentioned? I said it has less UWP apps compared to Enterprise. I provided you with a link to a repo by @GezoeSloog with all June 2022 ISOs, and you picked the only folder which contained server 2022 LTSC ISOs when all discussion was about ENTERRPISE or EDUCATION and considering we are discussing this in the 19044.1288 Enterprise 2021 LTSC specific thread i would have guessed your were talking about 19044 builds. 41191 posts with 73679 likes are not evidence of being malicious, or is it?
Dude, get Enterprise and call it a day, LTSC is not better for games and lacks the store, which you may need eventually even for crappy games like Minecraft or applications like Netflix. And BTW, Enthousiast is busting his balls daily helping all of us, give him a break and show some respect.
Show him some respect? I respectfully asked many questions. I'm here to learn. He disrespectfully gives me conflicting messages and disrespectful and extremely arrogant & condescending responses. The reason I picked the one called Server is because I thought it was the same as Enterprise. Why? Because all the research I've done says Server IS Enterprise. I google searched Windows Server VS Windows Enterprise and can't find ANYTHING. The only things I can find are about Windows Enterprise and Windows Server Enterprise. I can't find anything on a Windows Server non-Enterprise therefore all Server versions are also Enterprise versions from what I can see from research. On top of that, none of the other folders say Enterprise (if they do, I missed it). They all say CONSUMER. Consumer to me sounds like the "regular" Windows - Home and Pro - that most people get. So if all I see on the link you sent me is Consumer and Server, well I'd think Server is closer to Enterprise than "Consumer". On top of that, there's just a bunch of folders with numbers and stuff. At first I didn't even know what I was looking at. Again, instructions / advice / help which is incredibly vague and lacking information and barely helpful. If someone asked someone else where to download X and Y, most decent people would reply: "click this link, on it you'll see some posts, click the top link not the bottom link, from there click x folder for this version, if you want that version click Y folder, once in there you'll see a ton of files, just click the one for your language (eg. En for English) and ignore all other files. That's it. You seem to have the intention to help but your execution on how you help is quite poor due to giving out an extreme lack of information along with incredibly, incredibly vague replies & instructions, I can't stress enough how incredibly vague & lacking helpful info your replies and attempts of help are. I wasn't being sarcastic when I said you were trolling me. I literally thought you were. The way I was raised, you either do something properly or not at all. Don't half-effort things. Wheher it be building a bridge, helping someone, playing a sport, learning a subject, whatever. Do it "good" or don't do it at all. OK. Can you point me to a link to the Enterprise non-LTSC (or Education non-LTSC if they're just about the same with regards to lightweight, gaming, etc.)? I see links for Enterprise LTSC every where but can't find non-LTSC. Also, if the link has multiple folders, builds, ISOs, files, etc. may you please provide some info so I know what to do? It would be much appreciated
All the snowflakes fell down on this thread... *keeps asking the same question* *keeps asking why something is useless but at the same time recommended, when it was never RECOMMENDED to begin with* How about you salties go get a glass of water and actually read. Guy can't tell the difference between "it's recommended" and "for specific needs it's good", but the one giving all the explanations is to blame... The amount of "logic" in this otherwise TECHNICAL forum is "too damn high". Go to sleep, people. It's clearly past your bed time. P.S. The thread title isn't "[DISCUSSION] Snowflakes requiring spoonfeeding" either.
I guess this forum is not fit anyone, it's hard to explain to someone without knowledge - how to do things. ( give some credit to Enthousiast for being so patient ! )
