I honestly don't think there's much of a difference in the prefetcher between 2016 and 2021's version. A general rule of thumb is that if it isn't broken, don't try to fix it. That being said, if the prefetcher is causing your system to hang when you try to launch programs, you can try to do a couple things: 1) launch services.msc and disable SysMain 2) run regedit and set "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\PrefetchParameters\EnablePrefetcher" to 0 Default value of that key is supposed to be 3 Again I'd recommend against fiddling with the settings if it isn't causing problems for you.
Yet you visit a 3rd party forum for (mostly)3rd party links. x) You can ALWAYS use 3rd party links as long as they are not obviously malware and you can check hashes.
Got it to work in the meantime. Had to disconnect internet and then it worked. I managed to upgrade a Truecrypt encrypted system drive from Windows 7 to Windows 10 LTSC - at least inside a VM. Did not yet upgrade my real setup. For that I had to integrate the TC driver into my install iso: github. -> th-wilde/veracrypt-w10-patcher Fun fact, that I did not expect: Windows upgrade does not touch the bootloader at all. It only changes BCD. Maybe I should make a separate thread about the process so that it gets better SEO for google(?).
Hi, sorry to necro this, but this is the best guide I could find thru search. I also want to add wireless screen but the uup files are not available anymore, is there another option?
Thanks, you are the best. For the es-MX LTSC I should get Microsoft-Windows-Client-LanguagePack-Package_es-mx-amd64-es-mx.esd instead, right?
Hello everyone, I have windows 10 IoT LTSC 21H2 and I wonder if the 22H2 exist and if so, why I am unable to update to it via windows update? Is there a manual way?
Look harder. The term "x32" does not exist, it is a misnomer. 32bit architecture is called "x86", and there are lots of links to these ISOs.
