Download the Enterprise 2021 LTSC ISO, open the iso in explorer (mount) or extract the ISO to a folder and run setup.exe.

If it doesn't offer to keep all, then check this tool:
    UpgradeMatrix.xml FiX Tool (Very Beta)

I know it's very early, but at this point has updates for 2021 IoT been ruled out or in for ESU Bypass for 10 Pro 22H2. I know some people who would be ecstatic if they have been ruled in. I know that the updates being for a build from 1 year prior could be an issue.

Is it possible to create an updated ISO of LTSC 2021 using the 19041.1 build?

I just mounted from explorer, but it's asking for a key... I thought there was an option to proceed with windows installation without one and just activate it later. Why don't I see this option?

Is it foreseeable if google chrome will get updates past the regular win10 support time or is the risk high that you have updates for the OS but not for your favorite browser?

I think they will support chrome for updates bcz win10 will not die you can buy extended updates and there will be a lot of pc, machines which will still use it. Chome uses different support cycle than windows. Therefore win10 market share is still bigger than win11. They supported win7 for 2023 jan so can't see why wouldn't they do it for win10 too. The real risk is not from browser updates but from lack of security updates for the OS after win10 support ends.

I know this has been asked a few times already, but has anyone got a way to get News and Interests to successfully work in IoT 2021 LTSC by chance? I know quite a few have tried and some say they got it to work but have not seen any way that has been successful. I know I have become somewhat spoiled to the N&I in Windows 10 Pro and would like to see it somehow modified to work with IoT LTSC somehow. There are a lot of very smart people on here but don't know if there has been enough interest in making something work for it. Figure I would ask again.

I upgraded from 10 Pro to 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 and (at least so far) it works great.

I noticed that Internet Explorer 11 is present in the LTSC version - is it a security issue, being installed - can it be exploited? Should I remove it - if so, how?

Are there any other security settings (not privacy settings, I took care of those) that I should take care of (change/install/remove)? Should I remove Edge (I only use Firefox) or maybe change some Edge security settings?

    Thanks!

I'm well aware it's an LTSC restriction, just wondering if anyone has found a way around it somehow. I managed to get it somewhat working manually, but it was more of a hassle to work with than it was worth, so I gave up on it. Was just curious if someone else had experimented with it a bit more with any luck.

I don't remember exactly, but I seem to recall that some features or programs use the functionality that internet explorer has when installed. I'm not going to look it up for you. I'm just letting you know that I've heard about that. I personally haven't run into the issue because I don't remove stuff from Windows. I tried doing a Lite version of Windows one time and I wasn't happy with the results.

Hey, yeah, it's possible, for IE and Edge, I've read about that too. But, AFAIK, IE is not supported since 2022, so I'm thinking if it's a security risk having it in Windows...
