It's pointless using IOT before 2027

AFAIK all three skus can be HWID activated LTSC/N/IOT
Though, to be honest, the N and IOT versions do seem to have the most advantages.
N versions have the least bloat. IOT has the longest support.

Edit: I guess luzea says LTSC versions (and I assume N version as well) aren't doing HWID yet.

  3. non-IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 does *not* support HWID activation for now

Oh really? I had no idea. So it's probably just KMS38 on those for now then.

Where can I find Windows SDK, ADK, HLK, WDK, EWDK, and others for Windows 10 Enterprise LSTC 2021? On windows11 are available but are they also good with windows10 21h2?

And you can always switch to IoT LTSC version by just entering the IoT version key in regular LTSC 2021 so no need to install IoT from the beginning as it can be done 5 years later too by which time things may have changed.

These ISOs are based on an older build and have big cumulative updates installed. You need to find the base build adk, etc and use those. AFAIK they never get updated.

Because it's the last Windows 10 LTSC version (although, i'm pretty sure my W10UI script will be able to install updates on regular LTSC beyond the 5 years)
Windows 11 LTSC will mostly require "higher" requirements

imagine if IoT LTSC could not be HWID activated, Microsoft will lose all this buzz about it
they need to hook as many users as they can get

only system apps (like other 1904x)
no inbox apps (the removable ones)

boot.wim contain 200 MB of uncleaned deleted stuff
MS interns forgot to rebuild/export the wim file after updating it

this thread is a roller-coaster! tho it could be better, but murphy is suspiciously silent about something.. maybe he has found his inner light again, or maybe he just dodged the jabs claws via ignore list :roll1:

    As i can see, 2021 ISO is 4.90gb (X64) and 2015 ISO is almost 1.5gb less 3.58gb (x64).

Do you think 2015 version is "lighter" and faster than 2021 version because of size?

check the latest windows xp iso, it's even smaller, so it must be faster and lighter too

:biggrin5: i am just curious if it is lighter for older notebooks (2 core for example)
