@Kalium another method to remove one drive https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/onedrive-un-deletable-in-win-10-ltsb.76484/#post-1413764
Big "Thank You", to all the contributors. I installed 2016 LTSB, MTK+security updates only, with no issues !, Then O&O shutup10, after that, into gpedit \ schedTasks, to get things nailed down. NON LTSB builds are a, middle finger nightmare, compared, having to chase up user setting every other day. I actually prefer win8.1 (customized), But MS says NO, to my Ryzen2 , on April 19th (. Perhaps the CPU patch for win 8, Might be fine?, But for now i have win 8 and win 10, on 2 separate SSD, so i can enjoy building my new PC, without extra software issues. And No Whoretana, Marvelous ! Regards.
Hello! I am testing at the moment... and planning on running Windows 10 LTSB N on 3 machines... with Ninite and PortableApps for my application needs. I have read in some places that LTSB N is not good / has problems. What is wrong with: 1. LTSB? 2. N? 3. and my proposed setup? 4. any known issues I might run into? Thanks!
N versions lack all mediafeatures, it will be problematic in the future when connecting devices or using other media related things, N versions aren't a feature, they are crippled by EU law.
Well you have several other options here on MDL: 1) Fix for Patches with CPU detection (for Win7 & Win8.1) - https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/fix-for-patches-with-cpu-detection-for-win7-win8-1.74049/ 2) Windows 7 Image Updater - SkyLake\KabyLake\CoffeLake\Ryzen Threadripper ( It includes point 1) - https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...ryzen-threadripper.76335/page-12#post-1426042 XP+7 have something good in common even today, just like ME+VISTA+8+10 have too something... in common.
Just out of curiosity... can someone go from ltsb 2016 to 1709 as a downgrade without wiping the drive?
No worries, I tried as well. And it failed each time also. I actually clean installed 1709 on my laptop earlier today.
Hi, this thread really interested. For 2 years I used windows 7 (i7-3612qm - 8gb ram) and used windows 10 pro then back to windows 7 again. When using windows 10 battery life time feel short. Now after read this thread I want to use this windows 10 LTSB. But if this OS light like windows 7 than I will go to this OS, please review in real live condition. thanks.
