The correct question is: Is Ryzen 2400g compatible with LTSB 2016? i have a 7th gen CPU from Intel so i don't have any problems with it. Do you want performance? Well, i had performance issues with games on 1803 Pro so i'm now using LTSB and i will use LTSC 2018/9 when it gets released.
I used Education and Enterprise editions and in my experience i noticed: 1803 Education vs. Enterprise 1- Actual installation sizes? pretty much the same, not identical but almost the same. 2- Store apps? well... some 'Education' apps, if you're expecting a clean-ltsb-like start menu, better use LTSB because Education has store apps pre-installed. 3- How many packages? Sorry, i don't know. 4- Known working activations solution? KMS. 5- Known limitations? Uhhh... nothing? 6- Performance? Identical, no differences. In my opinion, if you're a gamer and want a clean windows just for gaming or for work, better use LTSB (if it works on your hardware.), because Education and Enterprise are almost identical. Now, let's move to LTSB vs. 1803 "Business Editions" 1607 LTSB vs. 1803 Education/Enterprise In this comparison i'll tell my experience, other person may have a different experience. 1- Actual Installation Sizes? I can't tell but the ISO sizes are different, ~3.5GiB of LTSB vs. ~4.2GiB of 1803 2- LTSB doesn't include any store apps or the store itself, the 1803 like i've said comes with pre-installed apps. 3- How many packages? Like i've said, i don't know. 4- Known working activations? KMS again. 5- Known limitations? I'll list some on LTSB, Hardware limitation, lacks of new features, no cortana, no edge etc. 6- Performance? well, LTSB runs better on my gaming machine, i had some problems with 1803 like stuttering, slowdowns.
LTSB 2016 may not officially support ryzen APUs, but like I said, I have no problems whatsoever running LTSB 2016 on a R3 2200G system. -andy-
It all comes down on what you play. The latest AssCreed? Get regular Windows. Paradox strategy games or JRPGs? You don't need the greatest GPU.
I've posted it just one page back, it has no purpose to repost it when it's not read https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...terprise-2016-ltsb.73435/page-28#post-1444841
Is it a laptop,if yes then which model?Desktops are more compatible with ltsb compared to laptops when it comes to gaming.
It's a free forum people can post that they don't have the issue it can lead to an sulution IMO not per definition the post is saying something about other people's situation so and neither that they are dumb
Nope. It's implied the majority of people don't have problems, so there is absolutely no need for a post with "I don't have issues", followed by ".." - that can only imply a derogatory remark vs. people reporting issues. Imagine what this forum would be if everybody would spam "works for me" on all the threads, and then some ..
Desktop. I have installed ltsb on some laptops too, i have installed ltsb on a Acer with a 7th gen intel CPU, no problems with drivers or anything.
LTSB is only for Enterprise, with KMS it all activates properly right? Which LTSB version is currently the latest? Is it hard to update LTSB versions or it's all automated and goes with Windows Update? Talking about possibly big updates like from LTSB2015 to LTSB2018. I got some old hardware, support officially ended around 2013, should I go for newest or oldest LTSB? Setting Office/Browsing not Gaming/Multimedia PC.
KMS works fine, the latest version of LTSB is 2016, it's all automated, just like the consumer editions (Pro, Home etc), you should use 2016 instead of 2015.
I do have some legit OEM Windows 7 Pro keys, would those work(guess not). Would generic OEM key used by DAZ-Windows_Loader-2.2.2 work?
