Nope the key for 2015 has been reported as not working for 2016 if I remember correctly ps and cheap means MAK used for more computers

Does anyone know how to get WU to rescan for updates to show the current status? I installed the September updates with W10UI, but WU still shows them in its list as being ready for download. I tried usoclient.exe StartScan, but that did not have any effect. The list doesn't get updated on my LTSB 2016.
While you are opening Settings, stop usosvc service and empty SoftwareDistribution\Download contents then close and re-open settings
Deleted downloads, but list is still there in settings > windows Update. Not sure what I did wrong. I never do download any updates via the settings so the download dir was empty anyway. Could it have something to do with having metered connection enabled in the registry?
How does it help in forcing WU to rescan the metadta to update the download status list? Deleting the update cache and update history with Dism++ doesn't help
Please read. I quoted his post to say that his suggestion did not work for me which means that I followed the instructions in his post above. I also asked you in what way dism++ would help.
Try to unplug/disable Network adapter, then press download button, see if it gives error if not, reboot then check again before enabling network
Still wants to download stuff already installed... On my LTSB, WU doesn't seem to detect updates added with DISM. The updates never show up under Update History unless you update with WU. Spoiler Reboot with no network and metered connection on We couldn't install some updates because the PC was turned off Retry Updates are available Downloading updates 0% enable network Updates are available. . . . Updates are available. We'll download them when you are not using a metered connection, or you can download 1.31 GB-1.34 GB using your current data connection (charges might apply). You might still need to connect to unmetered Wi-Fi for some updates. Reboot with no network and metered connection off We couldn't install some updates because the PC was turned off enable network Retry Checking for updates... shows the already installed updates for September and starts downloading
Did you perhaps enabled dotnetfx3 or something else that needs updating by the CU (language files, etcetc...)?
