Hi, I have KMSPico installed on Win10 Enterprise 1803. What is the best way switching KMSPico to KMS_VL_ALL-SppExtComObjPatcher? Just uninstalling KMSPico and installing KMS_VL_ALL-SppExtComObjPatcher will do the job? Thanks.
I used SVF ISO CONVERTER v0.32.01 to get LTSC 2019 refresh iso file : 17763.107.101029-1455.rs5_release_svc_refresh_CLIENT_LTSC_EVAL_x64FRE_en-us If I use this file to install OS, can I use KMS_VL_ALL to activate Windows?
EVAL iso can not be activated. Run the converter again, You need Target iso, not the source iso. Code: [ INFO ] Source: 17763.107.101029-1455.rs5_release_svc_refresh_CLIENT_LTSC_EVAL_x64FRE_en-us [ INFO ] Hash : 369e645a197bc2ca8309cb80467a85a16eacd1a7 [ TO ] [ INFO ] Target: SW_DVD5_WIN_ENT_LTSC_2019_64-bit_English_MLF_X21-96425 [ INFO ] Hash : d5b2f95e3dd658517fe7c14df4f36de633ca4845
I'm getting these in event viewer, hundreds of them: Rick Astley music.... Any ideas how I can stop these?
We're a Linux household, but had to install a Windows partition for better video editing. I used LTSB (thank you MDL), but our hardware was lacking so we got a new laptop (arrives today), and I'd like to install LTSC to a partition on it (specifically because Adobe recommends the latest Windows). I read through this entire thread and most of a few others - but I'm not familiar at all with MS lingo (*nix server guy) and therefore confused.. I can use the "SVF2ISO" tool to convert .1 to non-eval, which can then be upgraded to the latest (.194 I think) using Enthousiast's .cab or WU, and that's the preferred method....but now the same updated image (.194) can be found already compiled (that's what I'd prefer)...but they changed the naming convention / grouping so that LTSC is now in the "Business Edition"? 1. So if I want the latest LTSC image (non-N) then I would use: ..from https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-17763-1-107-pc-r.77945/page-221#post-1491993 ? It's the 'business edition' so I'm assuming I'd get an option for LTSC at install time? 2. Has anyone had issues with dual-booting? 3. I'd prefer activation that doesn't require a background job.. I understand KMS38 fits the bill and can be obtained from an insane forum (that shouldn't be mentioned here). Am I correct that KMS38 is "one click" / portable and doesn't require a running process? 4. Will the latest Nvidia driver from their site install correctly? Will I have any problems with the laptop battery being recognized? 5. Is there a recommended script that would turn off or remove telemetry and any other services I don't need like RDP, bitlocker etc.. Again, I'm not that familiar with Windows lingo, so please respond with simple terms and direct instruction (eg: "You want this image with that script, the activator is correct and there are no issues dual-booting."). Lastly, thank you in advance for any info - and a special thanks to those super users on here that build these tools and provide assistance - you're helping more people than you know!
Nope, this is normal Business ISO. LTSB/C editions always have their own. In the tool use the VLSC version of LTSC 2019, it's 17763.107, there are no official 17763.194 refreshes for LTSC and Server 2019.
Hey! Thank you for responding! So I understand, I'll re-quote what I think you're saying: Is that correct? Bonus question: I thought I read on here that if I used the .107 tool method that it couldn't be updated to .194, and that it would be better if I chose .1 and somehow update that to .194 - skipping the .107? Thanks again!
When the cmd is started select VLSC and next LTSC. All can be updated from 17763.107, but it's not advised for people who are going to create an uptodate iso, manually, anyway.
Well - it's awesome I've got such respected members responding to me! So.. I was wanting to create an up-to-date ISO to install on the new laptop when it arrives, then I can use the same image to reinstall on this crappy laptop. What should I do for that? Is there an easy way to clone like dd but in windows? Would it be better to create a .1 ISO using the tool, install it; then use WU to bring it to .194 - then just repeat on both laptops? ---- Edit to add: I started with Unix / AS400 (JCL) stuff 20 years ago and currently run *nix servers - I've never in my life used "Windows Update" which is what I assume "WU" is - if that helps explain where I'm at..
Windows doesn't have that all so convenient dd command like Unix. You have to use some software for that. One option is to use Cygwin which can provide a Unix like shell for Windows. Though I don't know, Powershell might have a disk to disk copy, haven't familiarized myself with that yet.
For LTSC use the .1 iso for updating offline with dism prior to install, You don't want to install the .1 version without updating the image first. It has some major bugs and it's why they did a refresh on it when they normally don't for LTSC. Otherwise use the .107 iso and update online.
The problems with deleting user files only occured when upgrading, using 17763.1. Clean install never was a problem.
Ok - I think I understand!! ..but there is no .107 ISO - it has to be built from .1 using the tool - then use Windows Update to bring it to .194? (thank you btw)
Among all the other versions of Windows the tool provides the .1 iso or the .107 iso for LTSC. Those are the official releases from MS. The tool downloads a publicly available version from MS and applies a difference file to generate the official release. To get these enterprise iso files otherwise you need a MS subscription or run the gauntlet of unofficial sources. These guys are doing us a huge service and I thank them for it.
Makes sense - I'm putting together what you and the other guys (tool makers) were saying.. sorry for being so dense and thanks for your patience! I agree - it's a huge help to someone like me! If you guys need help with your tape library, let me know!
does anyone else have the issue that TSC timer is only on 10mhz i cant find a way to get it to the normal 3mhz someone got a fix for it ? hpet is off ofc
Hi All Newbie here. Just starting to look into LTSC but have a couple of questions. Is it as easy to install as say Windows 7 and what are the current files I need. Is there a guide? Also excuse my ignorance but what is the difference between the N and non N. Thanks in advance.
