Hi, if I would switch to normal windows 10 what is the best method should I do? 1. Backup stuffs to hdd then reformat my drive(ssd) then install the win10 clean. But i'll consume some time reinstalling drivers and recopying games. Or 2. Just run the windows10 installer and let it overwrite my current OS(if this is possible??) because I did this but ltsc to ltsc. --- And also is NTLite is better than MSMG Toolkit in terms of making the windows10 similar to LTSC in terms of "lightness?"
@emhelmark I can not tell if it is possible to in-place upgrade LTSC to regular Windows 10. Certainly the best method is to do a clean install however if it will cost you a lot of work then an in-place upgrade is best option for you. I always do clean install but many do in-place upgrade and has no problems. NTLite allows you to remove a lot more that MSMG Toolkit but most removals options are locked in the free version. However all windows apps and system apps are allowed to remove and if you want to leave similar to LTSC that's enough. In this respect the two are very similar. NTLite can be easier to use because it has a graphical interface. MSMG Toolkit is free and allows you to remove more things if you do not intend to pay for software. Test each one and see what pleases you most
yep bro I agree 100% and remember here is the "home" of MSMG Toolkit world's best tool to work on Windows systems can trust
You can inplace upgrade from Enterprise LTSC to normal Enterprise with keeping all files and apps: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-hotfix-repository.57050/page-469#post-1556394 After this you can licenseswitch to all other SKUs (pro and pro+), if desired.
Why would you want to go from ltsc to pro and all the s**t etc clean install Not upgradeable i differ here from other opinions and don't post much now because of the flak re customizing and Os butchering etc ntLite free re 2019 ltsc s**ts all over MSMG for me ltsb 2016 i used MSMG been running an ltsc ntLite OS all year no probs stripped defender out and tweaked only SWEET for me and all my buddys like
so far at least for me and I with the hardware that I have W10 LTSC with just a few "adjustments with MSMG Toolkit + Dism + Powershell!" is the best operating system until now only 2 cents ...
It depends on use, to remove only Windows Apps which is the biggest difference in terms of "lightness" between LTSC and normal the 2 are similar. From the reports I believe NTLite is faster, that would be the biggest difference. For other components in general NTLite is more aggressive in removals. MSMG Toolkit is more conservative and does not allow removing components that can cause problems, it is safer for beginners.
228 pages of confusion ...... 2 days trying to wade through it ...... 42.9 gigs downloaded ...... and i still havent got a windows 10 enterprise (n) LTSC 2019 What about some clear instructions ? ...... Please ?
