I'm out of my league here as I am incapable of finding the N version. I have an old laptop I want to gift to kid in my class whose parents can't afford one. I want to put LTSC on, like I did several years ago with my girlfriends laptop. Unfortunately I just get lost in the interlinking, acronyms, the vast amount of legacy posts and hours of searching. I want the latest LTSC x64 N version of Windows 10, English which I can mount/put on a USB with Rufus and activate with KMS. I already accidently installed an EVAL version, wasting half a day on finding, installing and getting it ready. Can anybody link me to a post or thread with a proper N version of LTSC?
N is part of 2019 LTSC 17763.1 or 17763.316: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...b-17763-xxx-pc-rs5.77945/page-51#post-1467631 17763.107 lacks N versions. I would not install N versions, specially for people who don't know it's limitations.
I saw the '(1)' and removed it, but the behavior remains. What is suppose to happen when you hit the smv.exe? Should I run in safe-mode and retry? Edit: You know what, I'm going to try it on my girlfriends laptop. I loath this complete legit but awful Windows 10 version om my laptop.
I have defender running too, no problems, but long filepaths can cause it to error, did you check the sha-1 of the ISO and exe?
