that's strange, i installed the same edition and got activated with the same tool. did you try to activate it using another tool before using Microsoft tool ? try with kms_all_vl tool by @abbodi1406 and see what happens.
Absolutely not, I didn't used any kind of other tool but Microsoft Tool, I'm going to try kms_all_vl and update asap! I just installed TeamViewer in the mentioned laptop, so if you got any free time today just let me know Thanks! BTW did you mean this kms activator? [https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...e-kms-activator-for-microsoft-products.63471/]
this one => https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...pro-and-office-2013.49686/page-76#post-838808 but the one that you mention should also do the job as both use the same script to activate windows with few exceptions.
I can confirm that KMS-VL-ALL-7.2RC2 works fine for this build (along with Office) whereas KMSPico balked on LTSC.
i found a trick on another forum that allows to upgrade to any edition without loosing personal files but it is risky as it consists of modifying registry keys so i suggest to test it first on VM to be sure it's working. here's the trick : You have to change EditionID and ProductName at registry key from : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion EditionID = EnterpriseS ProductName = Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 You put the LTSC iso on desktop, yo double click on it then all you have to do is click on setup.exe from LTSC 2019 ISO and follow the instrustions by choosing to keep your personal apps and data then start the upgrade.
still no patches released for this version? I have still the bug with the volume overlay, it's popping up at random times all over the screen.
@GodHand: Line 1455: Code: Set-ItemProperty -LiteralPath "HKLM:\WIM_HKCU\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\PushNotifications" -Name "NoToastApplicationNotification" -Value 1 -Type DWord This policy also disables the "safe to remove hardware" message when removing a USB drive for example. For me, I would like to keep those messages to avoid possible data corruption. Cheers. Edit: In version 3.1.2.6 it has now become line 1465 due to added code.
I kinda agree, aside from the "we deleted all your files" thing there isn't anything majorly screwed up. I haven't run into any problems. But keep in mind that most people don't do a clean install.
I done few upgrades, none deleted anything. Even if it did, one has full backup before such MAJOR surgery like full OS version upgrade, right?
I did the powershell and it didnt seem to work. - windows key + x - selected powershell admin - cd to the directory it was extracted - copy and pasted your code - ran it - rebooted - cant find edge Edit: Tried the DISM method too and nothing - Moved files to c: - CD to top root c - Ran code supplied - it installed just fine - rebooted - edge no where to be found.
Has anyone figured out how to disable Security Accounts Manager service in 1809 without creating a veeeery long startup delay?
really. last patch i installed on 1809 was kb4464330. been doing searches on the wumt and no updates releasded after that. the volume overlay bug has gotten so bad, pops up in the left upper corner all the time now. even though setpoint has its own volume overlay in the center of screen. i have solved it by installing "HideVolumeOSD". I wish it would not have come to installing a software but microsoft is not aware of the overlay bug in 1809 version, clearly! yet again debloating the new version...
WUMT and/or any other tool won't show IP updates, they are only released in the RP (i can't confirm that they still are in SLOW ring, because 18272 will be in SLOW ring). Here you can find the most current SSU: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-hotfix-repository.57050/page-327#post-1471204 (Only the SSU) Here you can find the most current CU: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-hotfix-repository.57050/page-334#post-1477265 kb4464330 is the Flash Update.
Is Windows 10 LTSC 2019 standing like other ISO's 17763.1 (1809)? Or can I download and use it normally for end users? Thanks!
