Of course he have original ISO, just like Server, but simply don't want to leak it whether for a reason or not, it's his choice LTSB don't get WU upgrades
I'm not sure about that. Why a tester allowed to test such builds shouldn't get the upgrades like any other? Clearly there aren't automated upgrades from 2015 to 2016, but from beta 2016 to 2016 i think they are available.
Anyone know where I can find these? en_windows_10_enterprise_version_1607_updated_jul_2016_x64_dvd_9054264.iso en_windows_10_enterprise_n_version_1607_updated_jul_2016_x64_dvd_9054260.iso sv_windows_10_enterprise_version_1607_updated_jul_2016_x64_dvd_9058290.iso sv_windows_10_enterprise_n_version_1607_updated_jul_2016_x64_dvd_9054300.iso
Take a look at the OP in RED, LostED and kabino, or wzor's VLSC iso patches (Enterprise VLSC iso's are identical to the MSDN iso's)
They don't upgrade versions I.E. from 1511 to 1607 or updated every few months. They obviously can download windows updates, they just don't do version upgrades. That's the whole point of LTSB.
I know very well the point of LTSB. Not sure you got the point of beta testing. Wzor had an early build of LTSB 2016, I'm just guessing it was updated via WU. It's just matter of being in the correct ring I presume. So, unless someone here really knows how it works there, I assume that is the correct explanation.
Who would you think be the beta testers of Enterprise LTSB? Honestly I don't think anyone has been testing Enterprise LTSB.
as you removed the languages?
I don't think any mainstream SW is ever released w/o a beta testing cycle. Would be blatantly stupid.
Languages are installed both in boot and install WIMs Assuming you have the install WIM with the unneded languages already removed, this is a way to have the setup procedure in a single language as well. Otherwise you will have all the language installed but the setup just in (say) English
You would think so. In reality, Enterprise LTSB and vanilla Enterprise share pretty much the same codes. If Enterprise works fine, Enterprise LTSB would get the go ahead order. Alternatively, and more likely, they would do internal beta testing of Enterprise LTSB, but that is not relevant to the situation. So my original statement "I don't think anyone has been testing Enterprise LTSB." is not exactly what I meant to say. I meant to say that no one outside of MS has been beta testing it.
Mistakes on SW happens even on apparently stupid and straight forward modifications. Having the same codebase isn't an excuse to not test it. Could be an excuse to have way less betatesters, maybe just dozens or hundreds instead of millions, but betatesting is still needed. So what's your theory? WZOR is an MS employer that risks continuously to be fired and sued just for our fun? I don't think so.
