It's even worse if you're using WSUS. 90% of my client machines, since upgrading to 1607, I end up going to their desk and installing MSU files (or dism'ing CAB files) every time a "Windows" update is available. Their machines hang at 0% steadfastly refusing to finish downloading or installing anything. Once the "Windows" updates are installed by hand, any other pending (Defender, Office, etc) will happily install, but if there's an update for Windows, everything else is stuck until I intervene.
WU hung during the transfer of the cumulative update on my PCs (32 and 64 bits). I donwloaded the updates using the Windows Update Catalog (with Internet Explorer : not possible with Edge!).
I have the ISO, but never did any upgrade via ISO, so afraid.. I always used the ISO only for fresh installations !!
You wrote : "Updated the OP in GREEN with all current Updates". I don't understand what do you mean. I heard also about RED. what's that ?

Anybody: Edge not opening after Windows10.0-kb3176938-x64 update on Enterprise. Every time its clicked, problem reporting sends a report to microsoft about it. No solution till now. Uninstalled Windows10.0-kb3176938-x64; went back to 14393.0 and it started working. Problem in this update. Soon it started downloading updates again: And you know what Edge started working again. (I don't know what the problem was or how it got corrected! #@&$ M$)
