My gaming rig is an i7-4790K, circa 2014, with a 2015 motherboard on a pre-NVMe m.2 OS storage. It has a GTX1080. I use the current 18363 Windows 10 Pro. I game at 4K without particular issue. I run Office, I watch movies, I do my daily tasks the same now as I have done since I built it. I haven't noticed any less performance. In fact I have been sorta debating building a new gaming rig but I keep not having significant justification to do so.
Anyone notice this bug this laptop that im using is not a touch screen or pen touch but the OS believes it is.
no... that option is only available when u have a touch screen or touch pen machine...that should not be their on a computer that doesnt have it.
is 19041 going to be RTM? as in, if i install it today without enrolling in insider will I get updated to the newer version without going through the version upgrade process automatically?
I just realized how hard they neutered Cortana in this build. I rarely used it, mostly to set alarms for all sorts of stuff, like when I have some food in the oven. It used to be a Win+C and then just go "set an alarm in 40 minutes" in the mic, and she'd oblige and set the alarm. Now it directs me to Bing so I can read how to set it manually. But that's the whole thing - the voice was faster. Now I either have to do it manually or use the phone with the Google Assistant. Don't get the point of this at all. Also, once you open Cortana, it remains in the window list when you alt-tab, you cannot close it. Really annoying. To exit it you need to kill the process.
wonder how the manufacturers are doing with this example defrag ui bug or there replacing it with there apps example Dell Defrag edit :+ the windows drivers are ancient
@Mouri_Naruto May update(2004) is dubbed Vibranium(vb). 19042 will probably be 20H2 the same as 18363 is 19H2. Currently, the latest fast ring build is Windows 10 Insider Preview 19628.1 (mn_release) - Manganese The Iron branch(fe) will be some other build, as stated, in the later part of june. Maybe not a 19xxx build number, but a 20xxx one, who knows... Just sit tight and focus on 20H1. The thread is about 20H1 after all...
