I agree with you on that. Enthousiast IS doing a good job. I’ve wondered where he finds the time. I just got a little confused when we were at 18362.1002 and wanted to transition to 18363. I think it was Enthousiast and Abbodi1406 that rescued that situation and I hope we don’t have a second enablement package for 1904X and get into some more confusion.
was a side track they never should have taken, and with 18362.10024, the option to unify to the regular develepments was officially offered. @abbodi1406's work:
Hi Microsoft, take a hint from the Linux and OSS community and call them MILESTONES, because that is what they are - snapshots of the development process that are deemed stable enough to release them to public. RTMs, Finals etc. do not exist in this fast-paced software world. No software development process will ever be complete.
I'm guessing that he didn't apply the build delta registry fix a few CU's prior. But I don't have the motivation to test my hypothesis.
There is no need for that on 19041, it was only needed for 19042.331 (which was set back to 19042.292) My hebrew install was with the original July updated 19041.388 ISO and installed the preview cu manually.
OK. I find the solution here. 1. With the new Start menu - no version number. 2. Without the new Start menu - version number.
